We visited Leeds for our son's birthday and stayed at the Cosmopolitan for a second time. This hotel is within easy reach of the train station, markets and the Trinity centre. There are lots of bars, pubs and restaurants near and it is just opposite the Malmaison so the location is excellent. If you want value for money without sacrificing comfort and convenience this hotel is for you

Terrible nights sleep. I often stay in city centre hotels but this was by far the worst I have ever been too. Hotel was quiet dated but acceptable. Staff was pleasant. The customer survey on the table had already been filled in my a prior guest. Not surprisingly they also stated that the rooms was excessively noisy and they had a terrible nights sleep.

I spend the entire night listening to club music, dunk people shouting, cars beeping, car alarms and other noise pollution. I'm used to staying in hotels in city centres but this by far had the worst sound proofing. In fact it had none! The window outside single glazing window didn't close all the way and the inside window was thin plastic.
Avoid avoid avoid.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, which is a shame since the are some really lovely extras. Shower gels, bath salts, sewing kits etc which should of made the hotel experience a great one . Instead I wished I'd paid £20 less and gotten a travelodge. Very disappointed and very very tired after my visit.

Stayed here for a week on business, easy walk from train station, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Food was really nice in the hotel. Room was clean but bed and room was small and I was told it was an upgrade to a double I had been given. Free WiFi was fast. Would recommend for business

Stayed here for one night in May. Check In was fine and allowed to enter room earlier than the stated 3pm check in time. Room was dated but did the job. Downstairs bar was nice. Easy walking distance from train station.

The only problem I had was that the room was so noisy on the night time, I've stayed in quite a few city centre hotels in my time and this was by far the least soundproof. You could hear everything going on outside leading to a terrible nights sleep.

The food is excellent, and staff are friendly and the hotel could not be more convenient for all that Leeds has to offer. We stayed in this hotel with our dog Toby recently and could not fault the helpfulness of the staff, Mike, Shaun and Steph in particular. When Toby needed a vet Steph and Shaun found a convenient one and even ran off a googlemap for us, and despite there being a large coach party booked in Mike made sure we got our meals quickly. I would happily stay at this hotel aain and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Leeds area.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel Leeds, the location is fantastic and nothing is too far away! The Reception staff are very helpful and friendly.
Rooms have plenty of space and amenities. I cannot fault this hotel.
The lift is now in fully working order although, there isn't a great deal of stairs to reach the first floor so personally, with bags, I would still walk.

Room Tip: Corner twin has plenty of space!

This hotel provided good facilities both for a large group's overnight stay and for the conference for the duration of our stay.
The customer service was excellent and everyone was made to feel welcome.
This is conveniently located near the town centra and has access to all required amenities.
