5 mins walk from the train station. Staff were helpful and friendly. Cost of meal and drinks were at a good price. Would happily stay again. Quiet and very relaxing looking out the window as Leeds whizzes by at the traffic lights

Stayed one night with my grandson to see a concert at the arena and to do a little shopping. The room was very spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was first class with loads of choice both hot and cold. The furnishings could do with a little updating but this did not spoil our stay. Well done to all the staff, everyone was so helpful and efficient. We will be back when we next need a shopping trip to Leeds.

Room Tip: We asked for a twin but were given a triple family room, it was great to have a choice of beds.

We always stay here when we come to Leeds, 3-4 times a year. I know people say it needs updating but we like the funky mix of old and new. The price is reasonable and we are smack in the middle of everything. The staff are so nice and always upgrade us automatically and in our preferred room. It can be a bit noisy outside when the clubs shut but that's just par for the course when you stay in a city.

We have just stayed 3 nights at the cosmopolitan, overall it was an ok stay. We booked an exec room, which had a massive bed (but the mattress seemed old) sky & big tv. Oddly the same room type we booked for our colleague did not have sky, and had a tiny tv.
No towel rails or radiator in the bathroom, the bathroom really needs a refurb - but did have a nice powerful shower!

Breakfast was interesting.... available till 11... But if you want hot food that is edible you really need to eat before 9, as they do not seem to put fresh hot food out later on. We highly recommend asking for poached eggs or eggs benedict as a way round this for late risers like us! (Also no fresh fruit available, would very much like to of seen a banana!)

Overall, an ok stay, but we'd not choose to return.

My best friend and i stayed in room 206 last weekend as part of her birthday treat. We were very impressed with the friendly staff, comfortable and clean room and excellent location. We also loved the slightly retro feel to the place - very inviting and homely, and the decor was nostalgic of days gone by in a very happy way. The beds were comfortable and bathroom very clean and tidy. Our room was a little noisy as it had a large fan/vent outside the window, so we would ask for a front-facing room again. We both said this is definately our leeds city centre base for all girls weekends to come!

I quite often stay at the Cosmopolitan when I'm in Leeds. The rooms are nice if a little dated and the breakfast is really good. The eggs benadict is a particular favourite. The free WiFi sadly isn't very good. It's slow when it works and often either freezes or drops the connection altogether.

Last week myself and two colleagues stayed at the hotel on Wednesday night and I stayed a second night on thursday. As ever the reception staff and the waiting/bar staff were very friendly.

The room was nice a clean and good value for money. For breakfast you had to order the hot from the lovely waitress but it was soon served and piping hot.

On thursday I had the rib eye steak and and it was quality, the pepper sauce was great. Drinks reasonably priced.
