Nice hotel. Needs a lift to avoid negotiating the stairs with heavy suitcases.
The shower was awful, not enough pressure to get it to work right. The back up wand worked well though.
Staff in the kitchen were nice.

Stayed one night here, for our wedding anniversary, never stayed in a Best Western hotel before, so did not know what to expect, but this hotel is the best place we have stayed in, lovely room, all the staff were very friendly, had a meal in the restaurent at night, good value, and very nice, and at £ 59 a night good value. So if visiting York, stay here, instead of the very expensive York city hotels, and just use the park and ride, to get into the city centre, and come back in the evening, for a relaxing drink in the bar. We will Definitely stay here again, when we visit York again.

Well worth staying here, friendly efficient staff, good food and easy to find on a main road.

Only one criticism was there was trouble with telephone landline connections when I was there last, although staff promised this was not a regular problem.

Room Tip: Ask for one at the back for guaranteed sleep.

I thought the hotel was done out very well and the decor was lovely throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent value for money - everything looked New and in really good condition. The location is ideal if travelling via the A1 (m). I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is the first time i have entered a review on trip adviser, i stay away a couple of times a week in various places across the UK, i have never stayed here and i have to say it was fantastic. When you turn up the outside looks a bit dated and you wonder what your going to get but inside the room, service, food was first class. i will definitely stay here again
