Stayed for one night midweek for an event in the city. Was upgraded to a junior suite free of charge. Staff on reception were exceptionally friendly. I would certainly recommend using the concierge to park your car (around £15 for 24 hours) as you simply park outside the hotel and a staff member takes it away to a secure car park. No hassle looking for parking in the city!

Suite was large with bold colours - again reflecting the art deco theme running throughout the hotel. Tea/Coffee choices were very good as were the complimentary toiletry products in the bathroom (including a white fluffy bath robe!)

Shower was invigorating and powerful - just what you needed to wake you up!

Hotel is centrally located with easy access to local pubs and eateries.

Would definitely return and recommend to others :-)

My wife and I stayued at the hotel for an event. If you are staying in the city centre then it is a great location. The premise of a art deco hotel is fantastuc and there are a number of really nice features including the lobby and lifts which transport you back into the roaring twenties.

However the hotel is very shabby, tired and old. Everything is worn, well used and not well cared for.

Staff were really nice and the breakfast was good.

Stayed for one night following our eldest's graduation from Leeds University.
Lovely room, clean roomy and comfortable.
Very friendly and helpful service.

Couple of observations; concierge superbly helpful and attentive but appeared to be very busy and possibly understaffed. Our room was to rear of hotel, no real review (which was fine) but the light well could do with a clean - removal of some rubbish. The "Queens" illuminated sign has some lamps missing. Attention to detail; hopefully these comments are helpful.

Thanks

Very friendly staff, great and cosy rooms, I asked to be in a rear room as it can be quiet busy at the front of the hotel found breakfast to be really average from a product quality and poor value having paid extra on top of room rate.

I stayed in this hotel when going to a concert at First Direct Arena.

It's in a great location, right next to the railway station. In fact you can go through the back of the hotel straight into the station concourse.

My single room was small (as expected) but nicely decorated.

The bathroom was clean with lots of water pressure and fluffy towels.

The room had the usual TV and (unexpectedly) a fridge and also individually controlled air conditioning.

The lobby was elegant and the reception staff were welcoming and pleasant.

Very good value.
