Great location for shopping and nightlife around Leeds. The hotel is attached to the railway station so is easily accessed by train no taxis needed, but we used the sevice of the concierge to park our car and it was looked after very well. Lovely friendly staff, very clean hotel and lovely breakfast. Comfortable bed great nights sleep. Would stay at this hotel again in the future.

Very well located for station and shops. Friendly and helpful staff.Bedrooms were well equipped, clean and quiet. Some other reviews talk about the hotel being "Tired"but we found no sign of this and all rooms and common areas were in good condition.
The rooms are very quiet with double glazing and quiet air conditioning.Free wifi throughout which worked well.
Breakfast was a very well laid out and replenished buffet with a lot of helpful staff on hand to look after any requests.
Our only concern was that the dinning room is located in the basement so there is no view. Also the price of wine with dinner is too high with up to a seven times mark up on price

Room Tip: choose a room as high up as possible

I stayed here with my daughter recently for the start of the #TDF.. Although I had booked a family room we were initially given a double room!! After speaking to reception we were quickly moved to a suite with a sofa bed in a seperate room and the sofa bed was made up for us. We have stayed here before and again had a brilliant nights sleep, this time we set an alarm so we didn't miss breakfast!! The rooms are all beautifully decorated and well equipped, no problems with noise. Breakfast was ok, I think another time I'd possibly go room only and eat breakfast elsewhere.. All in all another great stay!!

The staff were really polite and friendly, however i paid £110 without breakfast for a delux room and i would have probably priced it at about £50 myself, the television was small and quite old and the decor looks like it was last renevated in the 70's, really tacky
a standard room at a premier inn is much more modern and comftable and probably half the price.
in otherword far too expensve but otherwise service wise very proffesional and friendly

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay. I was very sorry to learn that not everything went according to plan and that you did not like our Art Deco feel around the hotel.I was pleased to read however that the team were friendly and professional and I do hope that you will give us another opportunity to restore your faith in The Queens at some point in the future.

Stayed in The Queens overnight on business and was impressed with the classic elegance of the hotel. Staff were professional, courteous and helpful, especially the Consierge who help me print my boardingpass. Would stay again

As a party of six on our annual weekend visit to Leeds and stay at The Queens we once again had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The rooms are clean and comfortable and our request for rooms at the front of the hotel was arranged. All staff are extremely professional, polite and helpful and breakfast is excellent, plenty of choice for all and the quality of the food superb. Thank you for a super stay and we shall be returning next July!!

The Queens wow.. Great location 2 minutes walk away from Leeds train station and the shopping centre.
We received a warm welcome from the front of house team on our arrival. As we had arrived early morning. Our room wasn't available so we asked if we would like to leave our luggage so we could enjoy rest of our day.
On return check in was easy. Our room was on the 5th floor over looking busy streets from the train station.
Windows are double glassed. No noise at all.
Our room was lovely. We had Coffee and tea making facilities and iron in the wardrobe was helpful too. Bed and pillows out of this world.
Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom with big fluffy towels.
On our departure the following day. We asked if we could leave our luggage and pick it up later on.
No problem said the receptionist it's free of charge.
So The Queens is an excellent hotel which we will defiantly use again in the future
