“Excellent hotel in prime location”
Reviewed 28 August 2012

Just enjoyed a marvelous 2 night break at Quebec's in Leeds and all I can say is it is a superb hotel with outstanding staff...
Had upgraded to a deluxe room and we were not disappointed. Had a minor problem with road noise having been put into a deluxe room on the front of the building......did I say problem? The staff sorted out a replacement 'quiet' room for us as soon as we raised the issue.
Breakfast was brilliant with choice of continental or full cooked Yorkshire breakfast ...No need for lunch !!!
Fantastic service in a superb hotel......We WILL be back......Thanks you for a wonderful 2 days !!

Room Tip: If you are looking for a restful night's sleep, ask for a room away from the front of the buildi...

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night (25/08/12) and it was amazing - wish i had booked for longer! This was a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and the little touches i requested they didnt forget and did not mention them at check in so the wine in the room etc was another suprise.
The staff couldnt do enough for you and the hotel was fantastic.
I will be booking up again soon!

Room Tip: Literally 2 seconds from station and just round the corner to bars / restaurants!

We stayed in room 105 which was a fabulous executive room but the noise from the traffic continued throughout the night and made a good nights sleep impossible. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room were excellent and the overall quality of the hotel could not be faulted. Take ear-plugs just in case you get a ground-floor front room

Room Tip: Take ear plugs!

This is a fantastic hotel within a 5 minute walk from Leeds railway station. Rooms are spacious and superbly decorated. There is a fantastic stained glass wall as you enter the hotel.staff are very helpful .the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, though does offer room service, but there's an array of different restaurants all within walking distance.the only complaint I have was our room was simply too warm. We did call to reception and someone came to adjust the temperature settings, however it did not work, and eventually my husband decided he'd had enough and drove home, 10 mins away, returning in the morning for breakfast. Not ideal. Breakfast was superb however.. We did tell reception we hadn't slept well and they were very apologetic, though we didn't mention my hubbys journey home. That said I would definitely recommend the hotel for a fantastic night away, and have every faith that they will sort out there heating :)

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back too noisy at the front.

I stayed with my sister for a girly pampering weekend and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the whole experience.
A beautiful hotel from the outside and the inside is no let down the whole place is just full of character.
A smooth check in and then taken to our beautiful room. I've stayed in a lot of hotel rooms but this has to be by far the nicest and grandest. Luxurious furniture and fittings, a huge bed and a bathroom and roll top bath to die for.
After a quick trip to the shops (literally outside the door) we returned to the room for head massages, reflexology and manicures through the pampering pack. Again such a professional service I felt I was in a top end spa.
A bit more relaxing and then to dinner which again was arranged by the hotel in the restaurant downstairs. One scrummy meal later we were tucked up in the huge bed watching DVDs selected from their huge collection, on the DVD player set up while we were out.
Breakfast was delicious and I managed pastries, fresh pineapple, strawberries and melon and a full Yorkshire breakfast.
I couldn't fault my stay and I'm normally such a nit picker. The staff were wonderfully attentive, professional and friendly and yet entirely unobtrusive.
Just wonderful. Can't wait to stay again.

Thank you so much for you kind review. It really sounds like you have a great trip to Leeds and I am glad we were such a large part of making this so special.

Thank you for mentioning how luxurious our bedrooms are, I genuinely feel that they are the most sumptuous and tastefully decorated of any hotel in Leeds.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the future, if I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Stayed here for a weekend in July this year. Very welcoming Receptionist, beautiful hotel, lovely room, very comfy bed, all clean and fresh. Breakfast was also very good. Would recommend this hotel highly. Very impressed.

Car parking not so great but otherwise a very pleasant experience.

What a lovely find this was, a hotel where you aren't just a number, staff extremly friendly without being intrusive, very welcoming on arrival and throught the stay, offering assistance where needed but not to infringe on our stay in any way, this hotel has a very homely feel. We had an executive room, very spacious with a large bathroom, huge bed which was very comfy and luxiourious bedding, lots of character and elegance (if you are a fan of contemporary then it may not be for you). Beautiful original oak panelling in many areas of the hotel and a stunning stained glass window above the main reception, all very reminicient of the hotels original use as a liberal building. There is an honesty bar for use by guests, which adds to the refreshing hospitality of this hotel, breakfast is served in a conservatory style room, we had conitinental breakfast with a selection of pastries, cereals, fruits, yoghurt etc, staff again very friendly and helpful. Only about 5 minutes walk to the main shops, canalside and plenty of eating establishments. We used the car park of the hotel, located to the side and opend for you on arrival if a space is free (small with just 7 places but we parked fine here and paid the parking fees of £15 per night) there is apparantly another car park close by that the hotel uses at a slightly lesser fee. If you are by train then it is literally a 2 minute walk from the station. Overall a luxury hotel without all the hussle & bussle of a large hotel chain, excellent friendly service, full of original features with external archietceture to admire, definetly recommend if you like elegance.
