I stayed after a days hard work look to relax, the receptionist was really friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location as far as the station is concenred but it on the ring road which in Leeds city centre is busy! Dont expect a good nights sleep if your a light sleeper as traffic was really busy and started full on at 05.30am.

My room 310 was lovelry and could not be faulted - other than not having a bath only a walk in shower.

I stayed here this summer to celebrate my birthday along with my partner and friends, we stayed in the executive suite over 2 floors. The room was fantastic well kept and had the comfiest bed I have ever slept in, the service was fantastic and the breakfast also something to boast about. The hotel it's self is in a a great location close by the train station and central for shopping and the leeds nightlife. I'd definitely visit here again, a perfect hotel for a special occasion

Stressed and tired I arrived, driving in city centres that I do not know always stresses me and looking for a new hotel just adds to the mix. However my trusty sat.nav. guided me in with no problem at all. Parking outside in the taxi rank was a tad concerned, so quickly ran in to get checked in and get the car parked. Checking in delayed, concierge called and my bags were taken straight to my room, whilst another staff member went and opened the gate for the private parking adjacent to the hotel
Walked back, only a few hundred yards, and was seated at reception desk and checked in at a leasurely pace......and relaxation started. The stairs towered above me, with the most amazing stained glass windows I have ever seen an hotel. Shown to my room, executive double on the fourth floor, straight across from the conservatory breakfast room and all was good. Room service was prompt and excellent food.
Slept better than I thought in spite of the room facing onto the road and for breakfast I simply stepped across the corridor, up a few stairs and I was there.
The roof top views over Leeds are so different and......and, this is a big and, instead of that horrible background music that pervades and assaults my ears sometimes when staying in hotels, the TV was on with the morning news.....maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but for me was just so much better
Food again was served quickly and efficiently, decent coffee, good selection of breakfast
So all in all I will most definitely be back, the staff without exception were polite and welcoming, and in the middle of the city centre this is a gem of a small independent hotel
The car park is small and has only seven spaces, and as with all city centre hotels there is a charge for the use of this. If that is full then there is a multi storey car park a short walk away and I understand the hotel has organised discount rates
Finally the quality of everything is outstanding, the towels were thick and huge! The air con.worked very well and the toiletries, well not been to a hotel where L'Occitane is the one
Brilliant and well done...staff should all be proud of themselves, thank you

Thanks Quebecs for a great stay earlier this week. I'm really quite fussy but I was impressed with this. I was upgraded to an executive room and it was fantastic. The bathroom was modern and clean with a great shower (with an extra detachable head, essential for we ladies with long hair to be washed!!). There are L'occitane smellies in the bathroom, shampoo, body lotion etc. It was really clean and the food was nice with a wide choice of room service. There is a fridge in the room which is really handy and there was a plate of fruit waiting for me. The bed was comfy with a choice of down or synthetic pillows. There are robes and slippers and fluffy towels. I work in Leeds 4 days a week and so I've booked in to stay next week again. The only down side is they only have a few car parking spaces which are first come first served and it's £15 per night! They are cramped spaces, but the alternative is a large multi-storey down the road which is a similar price. They have free wifi too & air con in the rooms. The staff are all really helpful. It's right in the city centre so really handy for the bars, clubs and financial district. Will definitely stay again, have booked in for next week!

Room Tip: I was in 204 looking over the side car park of the hotel. There wasn't much outside noise at tha...

This is a great choice for a weekend in the city. Staff very welcoming. I was lucky to be able to get a parking space next to the hotel but it is probably best to assume that you won't and use a nearby public car park. Very nice recently opened hotel bar. Breakfast is very good, but staff need to pay full attention to cleanliness of crockery and cutlery. Room was also very good, again attention needed to the small details which would turn this from very good to excellent, e.g. Remote control needed new batteries and in room safe needed hire of a key which wasn't explained at check-in. I do recommend this hotel fully though, if you want a very good quality hotel in the centre of Leeds.

Stayed for 2 nights in an Executive room. Great location in the centre of Leeds, good friendly service but the hotel was let down by the detail. Breakfast was great but some of the cutlery and all of the coffee cups were dirty on the second day.

Next time I will try somewhere else but would be prepared to return in future.
