One overnight mid week stay at Quebecs. Picked it last minute as did not like the price popping up at preferred choice.

Hotel is well located near to train station and shops. It is down a side street and therefore was not subject to lots of noise.

On arrival receptionist was fairly friendly and check in was fast although limited information was given despite this being our first stay. We were in an executive room and it was a lovely big room, big comfy bed and big bathroom with very strong power shower. We did have to call reception for extra towels but this was quickly resolved.

Could not work air con or access safe so gave up. One set of sockets were not working.

There is no bar, wlthough there is an honesty bar on floor 3? Did go into this late in the eveving but all the cupboards were locked so could not understand what this was or how it worked and there were no instructions. We did feel this hotel is very much lacking something because there is no proper bar area.

Cooked breakfast is served at table and was good value. It was good to see fried bread on the menu but sauce is only available on request and waiter was surprised when we asked. Continental options were limited and below par.

Staffing appears very limited. reception is staffed but apart from the breakfast waiter we saw no one else.

the hotel describes itself as boutique. Well it certainly had a few extras and had a certain charm but lost out in that it lacked a bit of soul. We would stay here again but only if our preffered choice isn't coming out at a good price.

We would recommend this hotel if you like to stay in your room

Booked day before arrival having been told they had just 2 deluxe rooms available and price would be £120 per room, no problem we booked it. Arrived Saturday afternoon to find both rooms were extremely small, dark and dingy and right next to lift on 2/3rd floor respectively also they were fitted out for disabled so lots of rails and alarm buttons etc, not befitting a romantic weekend away. Complained straight away that rooms were completely unacceptable but duty manager refused to refund our payment but offered to charge us £70 for each room. We had no option but to pay as they had our card detailsand duly left to seek rooms elsewhere. Manager also admitted these were always the last 2 rooms to be let and that they had had several complaints about them before, how incredible then that they still insisted on charging us £70 for each room. Eventually stayed at City Inn - club rooms slightly more than Quebecs but miles better and service excellent. Quebecs is NOT a deluxe Hotel far from it.

My husband and I have stayed in this boutique hotel on more than one occasion and we would heartily recommend Quebecs. It is ideally located, just 2 minutes walk from the railway station and town centre. The staff are friendly and the rooms are of a very high standard. There is an honesty bar in the lounge upstairs with plush sofas and lovely open fires. We look forward to our next visit.

Imagine our delight, when arrived at Quebecs we were greeted by Tom, who told us we had been upgraded. We had been allocated the Bon Bon Suite on the 5th floor. The room was quirky and full of character. Our bed was positioned in an hexagonal room in the turret with small oval windows, adjoining the room was an area with chaise longue coffee table and tub chair. The bathroom was nicely appointed and clean. Our bedding was crisp white cotton, the bed was very comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy. We had been left a card wishing us a happy anniversary and a small plate of chocolates and chocolate dipped strawberries. Such a nice touch!
We enjoyed the grandeur of the hotel with its sweeping staircase, stained glass windows and beautiful wood paneled Oak Room where there was an Honesty Bar at night.
What made our stay especially nice was the friendly staff who were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks, Tom , for the great restaurant suggestions.
The hotel is also conveniently situated close to good eateries and a stones throw from Leeds station. All in all an excellent break to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

I chose Quebecs based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and I was not disappointed. The hotel is a five minute walk from the train station and close to all the main attractions in Leeds. We had a deluxe room which was very clean and spacious and included 2 comfy chairs for watching television and a huge bathroom with a lovely powerful shower. The price of the room which was £79 per night didn't include breakfast so be careful if you choose to eat breakfast in the hotel as the cooked option is not particularly cheap! If you go for the continential option (which was more than adequate), then this is £4.95 and includes fresh fruit salad, cereals and toast. However, the cooked breakfast is around £14.00.

The staff at the hotel are friendly and extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it to other travellers who want somewhere comfortable and reasonable to stay in Leeds.

My partner and I drove all the way from Kent (an exhausting 4 hour journey)
When we arrived at the hotel after getting horribly lost on the one way system, we were told that we had to park on the street- a 10 minute walk from the hotel...oh and we had to pay another £15 TO PARK.
We booked the peppermint suite- a split level room with a spiral staircase.
The staircase was rickity and squeaky- as if it was going to come crashing down.
Very unnerving! Not to mention it kept waking us up during the night.
The bed, I have to say, was amazing. Very soft and cosy.

I wouldn't call the room luxury by any means. Indefinitely not worth £160 per night.

What's worse, I had to put MORE money on the car to keep parked for a couple of hours the next morning.
Check out was 12.00pm and we only had enough change to keep us parked until 9.00am.

My partner and myself have not had a lie-in due to our jobs for 8 weeks and waking up to pack and get ready to leave and 7.30am was not a relaxing way to start the next day.

EVEN WORSE- the man at the reception desk in the morning was rude, impertinent and arrogant.
All of the staff we came into contact with were unhelpful, unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude!

Terrible.

£175 down the pan.

It has officially put me off Leeds.

We had an amazing time in Leeds and most of all we love the Quebecs. The staff were extremely professional and welcoming and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. My husband has stayed in other hotels in the city and is definitely staying with you from now on.

Well done Quebecs! We are looking forward to staying with them again!
