This is a good value for money hotel. Our room was spacious with an excellent bed, a decent sized bathroom [with a bath]. The carpet looked newish as did the decor. We had a good night's sleep although there was a fair bit of road noise from about six in the morning. Some better double glazing would make all the difference. One niggle - the shower curtain was a bit smelly.
We didn't eat an evening meal in the restaurant,[we went to the nearby Wetherby Whaler in Pudsey] but we did have breakfast. The restaurant really needs a refit [it looked tired and -dare I say it - a bit grungy]. But the cooked breakfast was very good, especially the poached eggs and the croissants. Coffee was good too.
The one thing that makes this budget hotel stand out is the lovely outdoor terrace. The management should be really proud of doing such a good job of making the place look attractive.More
