Stayed here and at check in a big deal was made of the 'good night guarantee', told them on checkout we were not happy and they rapidly forgot about the guarantee. The bed was like a rock and got very little sleep, room was really cold and we walked out of the breakfast because it was so bad, 1 meal swimming in grease, the other meal burnt and I had to go searching for staff to notify them, will not use premier inn again. Also car park barriers were broken so you had to go the wrong way out of the 'in' route which was simply dangerous

Premier Inn standards are always high and we enjoyed our 3 night stay. Staff were very polite and always helpful. Due to previous reviews and speaking with the locals we did not bother to eat in TGI Fridays and only used it for drinks.
The walk into town is approx 15mins however, there are a few places located nearer to the Premier. The Highland pub is at he back of Maxi's (a large chinese restaurant), Napoleons Casino offer food to non members as does the Northern snooker club further up the road. All within easy walking distance.
It's a shame Premier do not have their own onsite restaurant here as I am sure this would do very well with both customers and locals.

Room Tip: Don't have a room above TGI Friday at the weekend!

Can't go wrong with a Premier Inn. Comfortable Stay. You know exactly what you are going to get, the only issue was the breakfast - took forever to come out......so long in fact, I had to leave for a meeting before it did!

Could believe how cheap the cost was compared to the quality of the stay.

Room and hotel was very clean and we always commented on how nice it smelt every time we walked in.

The staff are very polite and helpful.

Everything in the room was top quality. I usually find it difficult to sleep in any bed that isn't my own but I was out like a light. Me and my partner probably spent more time in the hotel room than anywhere else because it was very relaxing.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Enjoy :)

Room Tip: If you are gone for too long in the day, just let the staff know when you get back so that they can...

We stopped overnight here before graduation. Having stopped in Premier Inn Hotel's before we decided to choose this one as they offered a reasonable price on offer. The hotel had okay space for parking both in front of the hotel and across the road. The first impression was that it was fairly modern and spacious. The staff on the desk were friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and of a good size, the bathrooms were nicely decorated. We had a comfortable stay and were a short taxi ride to the centre of town which cost around £4. The breakfast is recieved within TGI Friday's next door which is novel and they offered a good choice for a standard hotel price.

Very convenient location close to the bars and nightlife - not slap bang in the centre but only about 10-15 minute walk away - great for building up an appetite or walking off drink! Lol

Great staff - very friendly and room fantastic for the money we paid at just £29 for the night!

Definitely recommend!

Room Tip: Ground floor room was quiet
