“Very good premier inn”
Reviewed 22 June 2013

We stayed here for two nights in June whilst visiting Leeds. A great hotel, clean, good nights sleep and free and plentiful parking- everything you expect from Premier Inn. All I would say is that next time I may pay a bit more and stay at a hotel in the heart of the city as we did have to keep driving to an from the premier inn when we wanted a break.

Good value, we went for NYE and for a decent room for just sleeping it's good. Can be a little cold but once the hair driers are going it's fine! The TGI's next door is great and although it's not directly in the town centre it's only a 5-10 minute walk along one road so it's still great!

On the plus great parking and superb location. Staff where all pleasant. The biggest complaint was wifi having paid for it it was very intermittent. Kept crashing. As I was on business trip this did impact my stay. Overall it was a typical premier inn. Nothing special just as expected. Sort the wifi out would lift my score.

Decent sized room and all fine. In Leeds for a wedding. Chose this Premier Inn as free parking. Short taxi ride into town much cheaper than city centre hotel parking fees. Only there one night and didn't have the breakfast, just took some fruit with me.

Stayed February 2013, travelled solo

Very noisey hotel due to location. Although on the outskirts of town this seems to be a popular area for nightlife meetings.
Room smelt of takeaway from the night before.
However, brilliant shower and animities.

Spent two nights at this PI just for a short break in Leeds. Good parking at the hotel. Reception was efficient rather than welcoming. Room was fine - typical PI. Reasonably close to Leeds - probably too far to walk with children but fine for us. Didn't have breakfast there or use TGIF - ate in Leeds both evenings. I'd like to be kinder, but it was just ok.

Sadly not much good to say about this hotel compared to other Premier Inns. Daftly paid for 24hr internet access before trying it out free for 30 mins. We couldn't accessible wifi from our room, you had to stand out on the corridor, spoke to reception who promised to boost the signal whilst we went out but still unable to use the wifi upon our return. The worst part was we had no hot water when we got up the following morning so unable to shower! That put paid to our plans of spending the day in Leeds as I was not walking round all day without showering, so it was straight home to hot water. Sorry it's so negative.... Good point is plenty of free parking spaces at the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that can receive the wifi if net rent access required.
