“Brilliant staff”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

Stayed for family wedding, we had 9 rooms on various floors (some together on request). All equally comfortable and quiet.
A standard premier inn, everything you need/expect plus free/ plentiful parking very close to city. Surprisingly good breakfast in adjacent TGI with plenty of hot/ continental choice set out buffet style plus the option to have porridge and poached eggs cooked fresh.
All staff (in hotel and TGI) are super - friendly and genuinely helpful, nothing too much trouble even singing to our son at breakfast who had a birthday while we were there.
Be aware it's a bit of a trek along busy roads into the city centre but taxis only a few quid.

I had not stopped at this particular PI before...it was standard PI so you know what you are getting. The bed was comfy, the shower hot and powerful and the room clean. However, the staff here are particularly helpful and courteous, especially the lady receptionist and the breakfast server in TGIF. Well done guys, a great stopover!

i have been to Premier inn for 3 weeks from india on official visit, hotel is well maintained and staff are very friendly, it is near to city center and railway station its hardly 15 mins walk. I enjoyed English breakfast

Room Tip: Better to choose upper floors as you may listen sounds if someone walks in upper floors in nights

We arrived at the hotel early to park up and walk into Leeds. The staff on reception were helpful and we were able to leave our car in their free car park. The walk into Leeds is approx 10 mins.
The Hotel is ideally situated and easy to find. The hotel was clean and tidy and our room was lovely. We over looked a busy roundabout but the noise was not an issue and we had a fabulous night sleeps. We had break fast in the TGI next door which was lovely but not as good as other Premier Inns I have stayed in. It is also a shorter break fast service.
I would really recommend this Premier Inn as a perfect base when visiting Leeds.

This was an excellent place to stay on business.

Room was very bright and clean - staff were friendly as well.

The room was very quiet - even though it faced the main road

The hotel is very well situated for access to the city centre - a ten minute walk from the railway station and shops.

My only gripe is TGI Fridays - this is good for a meal if you would like a burger but not more traditional or variety.

In addition, the wi fi dropped every ten minutes or so

But overall, a good place to stay!

In my view Premier Inn continues to be the best of the budget brands by some distance. My first stay at the Leeds City Centre hotel didn't disappoint. It's not right at the heart of things, but everything is within easy walking distance or a short bus ride if you prefer. As ever, you know what you're going to get - familiar layout, clean room and bathroom, a comfortable bed, a friendly welcome and generally a good night's sleep.

The bonus with this hotel is that the rooms have large wide-screen TVs, which you don't get in many higher-rated and much more expensive hotels. It seems that Premier Inn are installing these on a rolling basis...please keep that up, it's such a pleasure not to have to strain to see the TV from your bed!

There were quite a few stag / hen parties around the hotel the evening I stayed, but at no point was this disturbing - and the room was completely quiet at night.

Overall no complaints - it's not luxury but then at this price and with this brand you don't expect luxury. Premier Inns are pretty reliable though and this stay was excellent value for money, particularly as I got a great advance rate.
