Just returned after spending Saturday night in Leeds for my boyfriends surprise birthday. I'd stayed in The Mal at Newcastle before and loved the hotel so thought we'd give Leeds a go. We weren't disappointed! I got a great room only rate on Laterooms but on check in were offered a special deal for breakfast the following morning and a couple of cocktails on the Saturday night for £30. The room was lovely and spacious with a really good finish (Room 211), lovely toiletries, bath robes and of course we couldn't resist the crisps in the mini bar box! The cocktails before we went out for dinner were amazing, there was a lovely atmosphere in the bar area. We had drinks after returning from dinner out and again the service was really good and drinks not as expensive as I'd thought they would be. Breakfast the following morning was lovely loads of choice and the lady on check out was really friendly and efficient. Thank you again for a great stay, we are going to see Adele in Manchester in September so really hope there are rooms available so we can try that one out!!!

Great location and really nice feel, checked in at 6PM, one member of staff on reception so a big wait, seemed a surprise that guests would be checking in around this time. Got to my room and found it noisey, street facing with no soundproofing/double galzing. Net curtain had a hole cut in it. Showered and shaved in the morning with intermitent hot water, i.e. either red hot or freezing cold! Complained to reception and was told and I quote by the young lady "We have this problem that when a lot of guests shower at the same time the hot water system can't cope, theres not much we can do about it"! I suggested that they get a new heating system, but it seemed to come as a surprise that guests would want to get showered at 0730 in the morning. This hotel game would be ok if it wasn't for the guests is how I was left feeling after settling my several hundred pounds bill!

Really lovely hotel and staff alike. My one bit of advice would be stay on one of the higher floors if you don't want to hear the bustle of Leeds street life but a perfectly enjoyable stay.

We arrived just after 1300 so room was not quite ready. The girl on reception was etxremley pleasant and said that room would not be long, so we said hat we would go for a look around leeds. she said that she would ring us when room ready but i said there was no need we just just pop back. We went back one hour later and our bags had been taken up to our room, (a very nice touch). Room was very nice, although quite noisy late at night. Bar staff were very pleasant and attentive, nothing too much trouble. Did not eat there so cant comment on food. Hotel was in a great locaion for shops and bars. Overall a very nice hotel with the pleasant friendly staff.

Malmaison is perfectly situated for short walk from station and easy access on foot to shops etc. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was well presented and tasty.

My friend and I stayed at Malmaison Leeds on Friday evening and booked the Girls Night In package. It was excellent value for money, lots of food and a bottle of wine, the website doesn't do it justice. The hotel was of a high standard, rooms were nicely furnished and the beds comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Would def go back and would certainly try other Malmaison hotels

Only stayed for one night but again the Mal Maison delivered good service a good quality room of a decent size. The cocktail and breakfast deal was great and the breakfast was of a high quality.

The only let down was the size of
The shower. In a bathroom of such a well thoughtout style and tiny cubilcle shower was a bit of a disapointment.
