I am a big fan of the Malmaison chain. The Leeds hotel is well situated for visiting the city centre. The service was excellent at reception, the bar and bistro.
The rooms are always well appointed with full size toiletries they encourage you to take. The perfect hotel for a weekend away.

From the moment we arrived I was extremely impressed. Not just by the fantastically imposing building located within a minute's walk of the railway station as well as the bars and restaurants on Call Lane, but also the the friendliness, efficiency and helpfulness of the reception staff. Our check in was processed quickly and whilst our room wasn't quite ready (we had arrived at 11:30am) we were able to leave our bags until it was.

The room itself was spotless and the decor Parisian with a modern twist - I liked. We stayed in a spacious double and the bed was enormous and thoroughly comfortable. The thick drape curtains blocked out all the light. The bathroom was fantastic with a big bath, powerful shower and plenty of toiletries.

Overall I can't fault my stay. The reception staff even let me use their PC to check in for my flight as I was leaving.

I won't be staying anywhere else in Leeds!

The location of the hotel is great as it is more or less central Leeds.

Check-in was fast and easy, no problems, the reception staff were very friendly and polite.

I shared a twin room with a friend, we both had huge double beds. The beds were really comfortable. The decor of the room is really modern. The bathroom was great, really powerful shower, plenty of towels and products (though I had brought my own). The room was spotless.

The staff are extremely nice

I had breakfast and lunch in the hotel and both were beautiful.

Arrived at Malmasion at around 9pm, was greeted by a friendly receptionist and promptly checked in. Although there is no car parking, we paid £14 at the multi storey a minutes walk from the hotel entrance for about 12 hours parking. Cant expect much else parking wise from a city centre hotel!
The room was perfect, super comfy bed, big luxurious duvet and pillows to match! Everything was provided in the room, mini bar and lots of little extra nibbles - the bathroom was perfect, I didnt want to get out of the shower, it was preset at the perfect temperature and had lots of power and lashings of hot water!!
We ordered room service from a very tempting menu - it took us over half an hour to decide what to have! We ordered - and were advised by a very friendly "shaun" that it would be about a 30 minute wait for the mal Burger (my partner wishes to add i was very much worth the wait!!) and would we like the wine sending up while we waited - of course we did!!! The Pinot Noir we ordered was a respectable price of £24, about average I think.
We didnt get chance to indulge in breakfast...although im positive when we return over the next bank holiday weekend it will definately be another tick on the Malmaison's perfection chart!!!

I cannot praise enough the service we received from all staff at Malmaison's, especially Lesley and Emma. Our room was perfect, bright, spacious and quiet, as I had requested. The bed was comfortable and the softest pillows ever.TFood and service in the dinning room was first class and using the 30 pound voucher for 2 courses, a bottle of wine and coffee made fine dinning even more affordable. The breakfast in the morning was also plentiful and delicious. I will definately recommend Malmaison's to family and friends and hope to return again in the near future.

Stayed for one night - great room with thoughtful extras, the staff were warm friendly and very helpful. Good facilities too and very central, the bar is quite traditional so you dont feel like you are in a hotel bar which is nice. Breakast to die for - top marks all round

Fantastic hotel. The style is gorgeous, really big beds, lovely staff, modern and well thought out. Lots of great extras you don't usually get in a hotel. The restaurant's brilliant - fantastic waiting staff and really tasty cocktails.

A word of advice - book in advance, pay £20 for a superior room when you spend £75 in the bar and restaurant. £100 for a fantastic 3 course meal with plenty of drink and a great room! Can't be beaten.

Room Tip: Book in advance (see above)
