We stayed at this hotel for one night whilst in Leeds for a night out with friends
The Staff were lovely the room was clean & spacious and very comfortable lots of little touches that makes your stay that bit special . The bar area was lovely with good staff and reasonable prices and the breakfast next morning was really nice & plenty choice on the menu .
Would stay here again next time we are in Leeds .

Stayed here for one night as meeting son who has just stated Uni in Leeds. Hotel is very central, 5- 10 mins to the shops and loads of eating places nearby catering for all budgets. The room was very large for city center hotel. Great comfy bed and high quality bedding. Great bathroom with bath and separate shower, lots of good quality toiletries. Spotlessly clean but not brand new. Flat screen TV, fridge, snack box etc - minibar drinks were usual high prices but not ridiculous. I pod dock, DVD player, Everything you could want was in the room. View out of window was a river and Leeds - not unexpected. Receptionist were really helpful when asked about Leeds center and directions. We ate in the restaurant on the Friday night. It was busy but not overcrowded, food and service was excellent but a little pricy. The bar was good with a great cocktail list and extensive wine list. Breakfast was a good selection of continental and hot cooked to order food. Much better than the hot buffets in HI & CP. Service at breakfast was excellent. There was no car park at the hotel but 100m away there is a good secure multistory and you get a discount if you stay in the hotel. There is space to stop outside reception and drop your bags before parking. Station was very close. We will be back!

Room Tip: We got a great room on the back of the hotel on the fourth floor

Went to the Malmaison for work. Check-in was smooth and the room was a good size. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Can't fault it for business use, would also be a good base for a weekend away.

Stayed here for five nights on business and had a very pleasant stay. My double room was large and clean as was the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Only downside was my window gave me a view of a fire escape making the room very dark with little sunlight. Cleaning staff were very helpful and sweet, reception staff were good too. Room service was prompt. Gym is very small but better than nothing. Overall a good place to stay.

Design led hotels usually in converted buildings displaying taste and originality. This did not disappoint. Got a good room rate through their website (cheaper than any of the agency sites and with more options). Had a 'spacious' double room which was of a very good size with king size bed.
Staff were to a person friendly and professional and there was clear investment in there training and development.
Room was immaculately presented and originally designed; with crisp linen, quality furnishing and lovely soft natural pillows. A/C could hardly be heard and bathroom sizeable, quality, and spotless.
I had an interesting conundrum in the psychology of taking home the toiletries - they were large and labelled with 'take me home', I didn't.
There is a mini bar and snacks in the room.
I would recommend going for a dinner and room rate rather than a B&B rate. The restaurant is excellent but easy to rack up a big bill, but the bundled dinner rate was very good when I stayed and included wine.
It is not far to walk to Leeds centre, and there is a Raymond Blanc brasserie nearby to. There is also a gym.
Overall this was a high quality hotel that lived up to my high expectations.

We have just returned from Leeds for our anniversary/bday treat! Can I say hotel was really lovely. Paid £99.00 for bed and breakfast for a superior double (King size bed). When we got to the room there was a bday card/chocolates and a free drink voucher which I throught was a really lovely touch. Staff were very helpful and we had a great time. If you are driving park in Q parking which is just across the road £14.50 for 24 hours and you get a discount voucher from the hotel! Visited the Northern Monkey and The Restaurant Bar & Grill (please see reviews).

Room Tip: Room 427 big round room on the top floor! Superior double with King size bed!!! A bit noisy though...

Room was large, very comfortable bed, huge bathroom with deep tub and shower, luxurious toiletries provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room service was quick and the food was hot. Only issue was that we still heard loud noise from the street despite being on the top floor. I would stay here again.
