Stayed over new year. Paid way over the odds for a room which was expected with the season. I have had a bad experience before so I rung up and asked if I could be allocated a room which wasn't interconnecting. This was ignored. I wasn't to bothered to be honest as I knew it was only a request with it been so busy in the hotel. Rung down for a menu on the second night of our stay. This took 20 mins to get to the room. Eventually ordered some food and drinks. An hour and 40 mins we were still waiting. I rang down and spoke to a lady on the desk who apologised and said all the kitchen had gone home so we couldn't have what we had asked for. Oh brilliant. She send up one children's sized pot of ice cream and said it was complimentary. I should hope so after the hassle we had had with it. Later on that night the room next door was arguing so had to ring down at 4am and ask for someone to tell the to be quiet. Was awake until at least 5.30am I understand this wasn't the hotels fault but neither one of the staff seemed bothered. Checked out and everything I had been told would be taken off the bill was charged , told the girl who quizzed me on the whole situation as if I had been trying to con them. I understand I am only young but the whole stay was terrible.
