I have now stayed at this hotel on 5 occasions whilst on business in Leeds (through my own choice). I have always had a comfortable stay and a good night's sleep. The hotel is in a good location, only minutes walk from the railway station, and opposite an excellent Thai restaurant. I have also eaten in the hotel's restaurant which was good. Rooms are reasonably spacious, and my only real complaint about this hotel is the lack of mobile signal in some parts of the building (some rooms have been worse than others so had to work / take calls in the bar on one occasion) and poor wi-fi strength at times. Despite this, I will be staying again in the near future.

Stylish, well priced hotel which is a 5 minute walk to Leeds Train Station.
Lovely rooms, great breakfast tray sent to your room - continental but filling.
Easy and efficient check-in and out. Good standard of mini bare, great shower.
Good hotel.

A great stay in a great location - only a few minutes from the train station and a few minutes to the bars and shops!

Room was nice and comfortable and the bathroom was huge!! Lovely complimentary toiletries in the bathroom.

Only problem we had with the room and this is very minor was the lack of plugs!! We had to put the kettle on the floor to boil it as there were no plugs near the desk/tables.

The service and food in the restaurant was really nice.
We will stay again - great value for money.

We had booked two rooms for one of my daughter's graduation and were pleasantly surprised that we had been upgraded so that we had the suite and a superior double room rather than a standard and superior double. The suite was quite something with a luxurious bathroom with large sunken bath pool and spectacular shower and candles as an added touch. The shower was above the bath and as it was probably about 7/8 feet above the ground the water generously sprayed the upper part of the bathroom so best not to leave your clothes too close the steps down to the bath. It is at the front of the hotel so there is some traffic noise, although not really a problem - more obvious for us country folk when usually all we hear are pheasants. The superior room was lovely and light and much quieter as it was towards the back of the hotel.

The restaurant staff could not do enough for us particularly when they found out that the restaurant we had booked for dinner had a power cut that night so had to turn us away - they were out to prove a point in that we should never had booked anywhere else!

The only couple of minor things were (1) there was no body moisturiser so a disappointment for us girlies. So if you do book this hotel make sure you bring your own. (2) no Wi-Fi in the room a surprise as we had the suite.

Room Tip: If you want a quite room pick one at the back.

I got a good deal for the Malmaison off Laterooms. I was visiting friends who live outside Leeds for a few days. I arrived early, the staff checked me in swiftly. My room was large, comfortable, light , with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. There is Wi fi in the room, TV with DVD player, a Minibar stocked with lots of goodies,Ironing board with Iron, and great bath and shower. They do tasty breakfasts. I ate in the Brasserie a few times. It was very busy, and had a delicious Creme Brulee. It was great that they had a Gym in the hotel. I will return, as the service was great.

Another fantastic Malmaison hotel, part checked in at 11am left bags and wandered into the town centre. Only a 5 minute walk to all the shops. Our room was a superior corner room on the top floor. All the usual mal goodies in the room. Had cocktails in the bar before heading out. Breakfast was fantastic plenty choice of pastries and fruit, cooked breakfasts also great freshly cooked and not just the usual bacon and sausages. I had eggs Benedict with a choice of mushroom, salmon or bacon. We will definitely return to leeds.
