A truly beautiful building which houses a great selection of Independent boutiques. Clothing, jewellery, beads etc. if you want something not on the high street you won't be disappointed.
Also the ceiling is breathtaking, grab a coffee & enjoy the surroundings.

The architecture of the building is amazing and the decor inside is so beautiful (especially the ceiling). When there are no events on i.e. no market stalls you can see this place at its best.

Out of the bustle of the normal shopping areas in Leeds is this circular architectural gem. A good new use of a building without wholesale destruction of the interior. It has been so tastefully restored that you can almost imagine the hustle and bustle of the traders there in times gone by. Yet you almost forget you're in the middle of Leeds. But now around it's perimeter (all inside) are some little shops and a café area in the middle of the trading hall plus when I visited there was live light music. I can recommend anyone to visit to see and admire for this restored historic building.

Great building and it is nice to see old architecture being tastefully preserved. Leeds has some amazing historic buildings an is well worth a day trip. That said apart from an interesting card shop there was very little other than the building to recommend it . The ground floor was dark and roped off and there were puddles of water on the flagstones and it smelt damp and this was in July, heaven only knows what it is like in winter.

Lots of empty units and I'm sure with some proactive management, daily rents, flea markets and table top stalls it could be more vibrant and welcoming.

Easy to find down near the markets in Leeds. Parking was very easy and really cheap. If you want to go to Leeds to look at the building designs the corn exchange does not disappoint. The ceiling is amazing as are the ceilings in the arcades. The colours and the tiles in arcades are bright and vibrant. Very nice architecture. As for shopping, corn exchange full of quirky young designs. Very warm in the corn exchange when we went. No air con.
