Woodhouse ridge is a natural escarpment on the edge of the city. A narrow band of woodland, it offers a peaceful place to get out in the fresh air.

Always stay around in summer and perfect for running and exercise or even walk to dog. Beautiful woods and path, no cars so its safe as well.

I have walked this many times in the past and it is a lot longer than you think - best to look up a map of the trail

Walking from Golden Acre towards Leeds.

Aside from maybe walking along country roads, and walking along Delph Lane, this walk is pretty much all trail. Along ridges, up and down hills, through woods and along the seven arches, it is a pleasure to walk. As a Leeds resident there are many spots where i found myself marvelling at new sights (Cardboard Hill, anyone?).

Fimished it up in the Library. Good atmosphere and friendly staff, cannot offer Pan-Galactic Gargle Blasters.

On summers day can't beat a walk in woods, collecting dinosaurs.

Cool breeze, Babbling brook and dabbled light. A nice way to de-stress
