I really love this place, something for everyone !!!
The cost of a family ticket is only £6.70 and parking is free. They have themed event days with boat rides, bouncy castles, face painting, homemade cake stalls and many other things.
The fully working waterwheels are awesome.
No need for the great Yorkshire war cry of " How much ! " here, it's fantastic value for money!

Went here as part of the Leeds waterfront festival. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Well organised. Our children loved the barge trip and even got to steer the barge. Everyone involved so friendly and helpful. Will definitely attend again next year

The guide was very informative and the massive water wheel was scarily impressive ! The old photos were great and the fact that they still didn't have electricity on the island until the 1970's when they lived next to the power station was bizarre. A trip round an old mill doesn't sound that interesting, but it really is !

This is the most intriguing place. The way in which a complete range of equipment is run off water-wheels through belts, shafts and cast iron gears is a fascinating education.
