Leeds is a most beautiful shopping centre not least because of the architecture preserved by Leeds council. The Victoria Quarters, The Corn Exchange and the old Leeds market are a must for every visitor. I would also strongly recommend The Tiled Cafe in the Art Gallery and a beer in any one of the old public houses up the alley ways. Of course the new Trinity shopping centre opened last year. In my opinion it is very much like any other. For those visitors with time to take in a show, The Grand Theatre is superb. A new visitor to Leeds should allow 5 hours for a good luck around. There are no hills in the shopping area. Most of the shopping areas prohibit vehicles and there is lots of disabled access to facilities. There is ample city centre parking at an average cost of about 2.50 per hour. The railway station is just 5 minutes walk.
