Just had a great stay with this travelodge courtesy of Angela and Pat, although this wasn't reflected on the daytime staff who we found to be homophobic saying that we were here 'to paint the town pink'. This was based on the fact that 2 men were sharing a room, the person on the daytime was verity, if she was trained to the level of Angela and Pat then this would help your business dramatically.

Just had a great stay with this travelodge and it was made more enjoyable by the great staff Angela and Pat- made us feel very welcome and kept us entertained all night, would recommend the stay just on the basis of them.

Clean, efficient hotel located in Central Leeds near the train station. Pleasant, chatty staff. Quick check-in at reception. Car parking in adjacent Trinity Car Park (£10 for 24 hours when ticket stamped by Hotel). Fresh, comfortable room. Buffet breakfast has a good selection, reasonable quality, but no fried eggs (only scrambled).

This is a good Travelodge - possibly the best we've stayed in. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very good being close to the station, near the gay area and shopping streets. The weekend clientele seem to be mainly people visiting for a night out and there was some street/ railway noise and from returning revellers. This is not the hotel for you if you are looking for a quiet night in.
The rooms were standard Travelodge - minimal facilities with no phone, iron, hairdryer, air con etc but the bed was comfy and it was great value. I'd definitely consider staying again but pack ear plugs! We didn't eat in the hotel but it looked ok. There are plenty of nice places to eat and drink nearby.

Room tip: try not to face the railway

An elderly member of our party was taken ill. As we were not around, the staff responded superbly, calling paramedics, sitting with him, making tea and toast on his return from hospital etc. Outstanding.
