This is a hard one as some areas are good and some not so good. First of I was on a girls night in spa break, Check in very good, all very nice and clean staff really nice, lunch on the expensive side but good portions, pool small and seating area tatty. Spa lovely expensive at £58 for a facial but very good and relaxing. Now the room a twin very small beds not clean not been hoovered small holes in sheets and Walls needed a wipe and a paint if I'd been staying longer I would of complained.maybe because we were on a girls weekend the rooms were not looked after ? .
But on the plus side the food we got on the girls night in was excellent and the staff were very nice.

Thank you for your response, and really pleased you enjoyed your spa break and the service you received. However I`m really sorry that your bedroom was not up to scratch – which is unacceptable. We aim to achieve the highest level of cleanliness in all of our bedrooms for our guests, and I apologise this wasn`t the case in this instance.

Yes, please do let the Hotel know if there is anything that falls below expectation so we can immediately put matters right.
I very much hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back to Thorpe Park for what I trust will be another enjoyable experience.

Kind regards
Gordon Jackson - General Manager

Recently held our wedding at Thorpe Park Hotel & would thoroughly recommend it.

The whole experience, from the first meeting with Rebecca right through to the day itself couldn't have been more well managed. Our host on the day Rachel dealt with everything in a calm manner & was seldom seen but always just seconds away when we needed anything.

My wife and I were able to make the day our very own with personal touches throughout, while the staff were attentive but not intrusive in making sure everything went to plan.

Many guests have commented on the excellent food served during our wedding breakfast (vegetable soup, followed by chicken with mushroom & taragon, lemon tart with rasberry coulis & clotted cream) with a seperate menu for the 22 children in attendance. The evening buffet went down a storm too with plenty of variety.

We found the spacious public areas of the hotel great for socialising with friends between the formal parts of our day and there was certainly plenty of room for the children to run around & let off steam.

The bedrooms, although quite small, were decorated well, modern, clean and had some lovely personal touches added.

The nail technicians & make up professionals based in house at the spa were also superb & good value. Well worth consideration.

In summary our special day was made even more so with the help of the team at Thorpe Park & we'd advise anyone planning their big day to add it to their list of possible locations.

Thank you all.

Actually still in the hotel booked a one night stay 'girls night in' for me and one friend, can't fault the spa facilities both had massages which were great pool etc really nice however the tapas dinner wasn't what you would expect for a tapas we ordered extra dishes onto our set menu and glad we did otherwise would probably still be hungry. The package also included popcorn, ice cream and nibbles to accompany the DVDs which we were told we could not have as we were too late in ordering at 9.50 if we had been told there was a cut off time would have ordered earlier. This was not mentioned anywhere when booking or checking in. Also the room seems only to be prepared for one person one towel, one robe, one shampoo etc. No conditioner available in the rooms either. When my friend asked at reception if we could have some the staff weren't very helpful and basically just said no.the toilet handle is hanging off the wall which I wouldn't expect in a four star hotel and probably should have been checked before we were given the room. Also the walls in our room were very dirty as was the wood around the bathroom sink which is disappointing for a night this has cost nearly £200. Whenever we walk past reception there seems to be nobody there but can hear chatting from behind the wall, we get the impression we are disturbing the staff when asking for something they are polite but not particularly helpful. When I asked where the smoking area was the girl on reception directed me towards the restaurant to ask another member of staff ( walking through a busy restaurant in a spa robe not the most comfortable of situations) On a positive note the waitress that delivered our tapas was very helpful. I would also expect in this package due to it being based purely on spending time in the room watching dvds a more up to date tv and the selection of DVDs weren't exactly 'chick flicks'. At the moment feel as if i payed double for a package to have all these little extras which we did not receive could have just booked a normal nights stay and had the same experience. Overall a nice hotel but for the cost would expect more lacking on little details that would have made the stay special.

Had a one night stay at the Thorpe Park Hotel with my husband last month. We were really impressed with the hotel. It looks fairly standard for a modern hotel from the outside but inside it has been very tastefully decorated and our room was really comfortable with great facilities, from the Bose sound system to the large fluffy bath sheets. We ate in the bar at lunch time and in the restaurant in the evening. The food and service were both really good. We were most impressed by the hotel staff. Everyone we had dealings with were very professional, efficient and friendly. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the spa facilities - perhaps next time as we will definitely use the hotel again.

Stay here about a week ago on a 1 night business trip. Had stayed there on about 3 previous ocasions in the past 24 months.
Very hard to fault the hotel facilities in any way. Its right up there wiht the best I've stayed in.
Location in in an industrial park just off a busy intersection .Puzzling why one would put such a nice hotel in such a dreadful location.
Not partiularly impressed with being charged £2 for overnite parking when the room rate does also not come cheap.
Overall very good hotel - Bad Location - Overall poor value for money

Thank you for such a positive review following your recent stay at Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa.

To answer your question, the hotel is located on the Thorpe Business Park to take advantage of corporate business on the parameter of Leeds as well as the number of Conferences and Meetings that require purpose built facilities close to the motorway network in the North.
The proximity to York, Harrogate, Leeds shopping offer, Great Yorkshire Attractions offers our Leisure guests a multitude of interesting activities, and the Spa an ideal facility in which to relax.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review on Trip Advisor, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Thorpe Park when you next visit Leeds

A fantastic 4 Star Hotel. Group of 6 girls for the one night Escape Spa Break. This was our 5th Stay at the hotel, it was equally as good as our other stays.

The rooms are immaculate, the hotel staff extremely friendly and welcoming, the food cannot be faulted for all meals from Breakfast through to the evening meal.

Each of us had a 30 minute spa treatment which is included in the package, totally relaxing! There is a lovely pool, whirlpool, Sauna and Steam Room, the only downside is the number of guests looking for relax by the pool there are only 8 loungers, which occassionally people try to reserve, however we asked a member of staff who confirmed if they were not about just move the towels, which we did. There are however chairs for relaxing on also.

The hotel had a wedding on the night we stayed which disrupted some of our parties sleep, the hotel handled this extremely well and compensated us for our disrupted sleep, this will not however stop us booking again for next year!

I would highly recommend this hotel for a girly or couple weekend.

Having recently stayed at the Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa for a girly spa weekend I can honestly say that we received 5* treatment and would definitely recommend.
The Spa, the bar, the restaurant all provided excellent service.
There were a number of special events at the hotel yet we were treated equally, with nothing being too much trouble.
The spa has a well organised system allowing you to feel totally relaxed and we were able to spend as much or as little time as we wanted in the relaxation area. Spa staff were very friendly.
Lots of little extras and finishing touches which make this hotel stand out from others, not sure why this is not a 5* hotel!
