Description: Friends of Ham is a Bar & Charcuterie situated in Leeds City Centre. A buzzy Continental-style cafe bar that has recently been named as the Best Place to Drink in the UK in The Observer Food Monthly Awards and undergone a major expansion. Specialising in Italian & Spanish cured meats, the finest cheeses from around the world, sherry and wines; we also serve up craft beer by the bucket-load with 14 taps and over 150 bottles.

Whilst we would definitely give it another try we left this time feeling slightly cheated on the basis the barman either didn't have enough product knowledge or just didn't listen. We tried a sample of a draft beer which was too hoppy for our taste, asked for a recommendation and were served a bottle beer which was even hoppier at a cost of £4.70 a bottle. Needless to say we left with a bitter taste in our mouths!

Incredible serrano ham, variety of cheeses and general charcuterie. I'm spanish, believe me when I say the charcuterie is just incredible. The only downside is the low value for money, as portions are relatively small.
Avoid desserts if you don't want to waste your money.

Knowledgeable staff, a great choice of meats and cheese and some interesting beers and soft drinks all made for an enjoyable light lunch.

There is limited seating upstairs at the bar, but plenty more downstairs.

Definitely worth a visit for a light bite.

Finally got to visit for lunch, interesting concept and enjoyed the meat and cheese platter washed down with a cider. Service was good and the downstairs room has a good ambience. Definitely one to visit again.
