If you are in the area I can recommend this pub for some lovely food at great prices. Just returned from a team meal and can say that the food and value for money is excellent. Probably my 5th visit over recent years and have never had any complaints from my friends or myself. Going to book for a team Xmas lunch next for Dec.

This restaurant is in Kirkstall, a cab-ride away from the center of town, but worth it. A good selection of ales, but the Yorkshire pudding was the culinary highlight of my trip. It's worth the trip just for that, but the fish & chips as well as the Waffle Meltdown will have you coming back.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. If you're in Leeds, you need to stop by at least once.

What an absolutely brilliant time was had by all the staff all wished my son happy birthday as for the food it was delicious we had steak it was cooked to perfection they even put sparklers on his cake I have and will recommend the pub to all my friends Thanks to all the staff

My partner and I have often dined at the West End for sunday lunch and for evening meals too. The sunday lunches are absolutely terrific with choices of beef and yorkshire pudding, chicken with stuffing sausage and bacon, lamb with yorkshire pudding or carrot and coriander goujons. The dinners are huge with plenty of fresh vegetables, you can tell the West End locally sources all of its veg and meat too.

The service has always been very good, and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is best to make a reservation on a sunday as it can get quite busy. The West End also has a good selection of specials each day. Will definitely keep coming here as it is always homely, clean, friendly and a great service! Can not fault the place.

Called in again for tea I had the special pork strogonoff and my partner had the tuna catalan. All absolutely delicious.. The cask ale was very very good!!! Stayed for the quiz which was fab lively and although full had a free supper which they do every Thursday will definatly make this a weekly occurance as the place beer food and staff are fab!!!! Cannot honestly understand some people moaning on here! 5*
