    Would recommend

    I booked this hotel to visit our son who is staying at the nearby Liberty Dock student accommodation and it couldn't have been more conveniently located. Also very handy for visiting the Royal Armouries and a pleasant stroll along the canal into Leeds centre itself. Check-in was swift and our room very comfortable for a short break. A choice of pillow-firmness a nice touch. Notices in the lift warned us of possible busy times at breakfast, particularly at the weekend (as our stay was) and yes it was busy, but the staff worked efficiently, replenishing the buffet and clearing tables continuously. The hotel also had a pleasant looking bar/lounge area which, although we didn't get a chance to use, did look welcoming.

The hotel is in the perfect location if family live in Clarence Dock or at the Liberty Dock student accommodation and is only a 10 minute walk into Leeds city centre.     Nice place

    Very good place, nice service, great standard. Lounge at the reception is huge and very comfortable. Perfect for afternoon chill out. Close enough to city center. Room was clean and spacious with comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

    Good quality hotel in a nice relaxed location

    stopped here for two nights over the Easter bank holiday weekend and was very impressed with this hotel. The room was nice and clean, car park was £15.00 for the entire weekend and the staff were very friendly/helpful. The breakfast was ample - plenty of food on offer. I managed to book this hotel room throught o2 priority moments so i paid for the friday night and got the saturday night free :-) overall i was very happy with my stay at this hotel and would definately stay here again when I visit Leeds. Thank you

    Good Location if visiting the Royal Armoury

    We stopped for 1 night to visit the Armoury. It's very good for a Holiday Zinn Express. No wifi to the rooms though which for a modern hotel seems short sighted. Paid for Wifi in the reception / bar area only. Hotel staff very pleasant and attentive. Would use again if in the area

    EVERYTHING AS YOU WOULD EXPECT

    I visited the Holiday Inn Express during early April 2013 on business.

    Overall my stay was uneventful but just what I wanted....the bedrooms were generally fine with cleaning standards at an acceptable level, the condition of the fixtures and fittings were generally very good with some signs of wear on the more used fixtures.

    The lounge/bar provided a good range of drinks and was generally in a good condition, however there were some seating areas which were probably designed for younger guests who would find the seating comfortable.

    There is a multi-storey car park next to the hotel which cost £8 for an overnight stay via a voucher from the hotel.

    There are a couple of places to eat within about 2 minutes walk away from the hotel - we ate in the Aagrar Indian restaurant......the food was great. The area around the hotel is nice and quiet with some nice places to walk if you have the time.
