Three of us had lunch midweek prior to graduation ceremonies. We arrived just as it opened at midday, though it did fill up fast. Wood-floored surroundings with art on the walls for sale.
The food was very good - freshly made, well spiced, with interesting sauces and a few foams too!
Cold pea soup had shaved asparagus and a fried egg yolk, the beetroot salad had a nettle veloute etc. I ordered chicken breast as a main, which is something I rarely do, but this was hot and tasty with a good marinade and couscous on the side. A shortish list of wines by the glass, but reasonably priced. Lunch offering had 2 courses for £12.50, though not all on the menu were covered, but that was good value.
