“Probably the best curry in Leeds”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2014

Great curry, I'd rate this the best in Leeds despite some fairly stiff competition. Decent menu has all the usual curryhouse favourites but plenty of specialities also.Family Naans are a particular highlight, big enough to feed the hungriest group! Well worth a visit if you are in Leeds.

“Fantastic food .. but nil point for ambience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014

Although the food is always fantastic, this restaurant is now just too noisy. The tables were tiny and arranged so that you were not sitting on the shorter side, but on the longest. With all the noise other customers were making and us being quite far apart, it was almost impossible to talk without shouting at each other. This is probably what everyone else was doing and why it was so noisy. If the tables were arranged the other way round, so that you were closer together it would have been much better. We both got the feeling that “ram the customers in” was more important than letting them have a more enjoyable experience there. We did both want to say though that the waitress – Tanveer – was lovely. So friendly and helpful. It was also very refreshing to see a waitress in a curry restaurant as this is so very rare. Thank you Tanveer – without you we would have left the restaurant feeling a lot more fed up!

“Very good Indian”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014

Went on 26th July for a birthday meal. Had called in to book during the day and were told there was no need. Arrived to a long queue but were shown to a table for 2 straight away. Room was packed and very noisy some large parties. Service was ok for the crowd. Food was very good and naan bread served hanging on a long skewer. Would go back again if in Leeds

“Noisy but good curry”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

This place is noisy, you have to shout to speak to the person next to you. The curry I had was really nice (chicken and spinach), poppadoms were nice but very greasy in the centre. The waiters are quite abrupt and when we arrived it was as if the greeting guy (who im guessing is the manager) couldn't be bothered, not even a "hello" or a smile. When the cooks bring the food out they literally shout and throw the food, it was quite funny. Don't think I'll return.

“The best indian meal you're ever likely to eat.”

Visited the restaurant on numerous occasions and have never had a bad meal. The food is beautifully prepared and the service is second to none. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
