Booked an early table 6pm for 5 people. Friendly helpful staff, great food, mixed starters and lamb moussaka were excellent. Nice decor and lovely atmosphere. Reasonably priced, will definitely visit again!

We booked an early table (6pm) with friends for a pre-Christmas meal and we were all delighted with our food and the welcoming atmosphere created by the staff.

My main course "Seafood Platter Special" was one of the nicest main courses I have had in a long time and worth every penny of the £19.50 charged.

All four of us had the hot mezze starter which was well presented, plentiful and tasty and two of the party also had desserts which, again, were highly rated.

A really lovely evening thanks to the excellent food and fantastic service - we will return again soon.

Another visit to Agora and we must state right at the outset that it continues to get better and better. Greeted on arrival on a chilly Christmas Eve, the restaurant was packed and we were shown immediately to our table. Bottle of Cankaya ordered we perused the mouth watering menu and went with Lamb Keftedes and King Prawns in white wine and cream sauce for starters. Mains chosen were Lamb Ispanak and Sea Bass with Feta.

Starters soon arrived and were well presented and delivered hot to the table. My Keftedes were tender smothered in rich tomato sauce which was mopped up with relish using the beautiful fluffy bread which accompanied the dish. My fiancées prawns was a dishful of excellence, large fleshy prawns and numerous mushroom pieces covered in lovely white wine and cream sauce. Apparently the sauce could have done with being a bit thicker to enable the bread to be used to mop up the residue as I had done but I was assured it was tasty nonetheless.

Plates suitably cleared we asked for a little break between courses which was respected without question. After ten minutes or so the mains were delivered and again were hot to the table and very well presented. My lamb was succulent and melted in the mouth – lots of onions and peppers within the dish to keep the lamb company. The Sea bass was two fillets with Feta and spinach sandwiched in between and again was extremely good, or so I was assured! Both dishes were very good and we enjoyed them both very much.

Desserts of Baklava and Tiramisu finished the meal off on a high.

To summarise then we thoroughly enjoyed the fayre on offer as well as the dining experience and for just less than £70 we thought it excellent value. We would very highly recommend dining here and wish Lilly and the team all the best for 2018.

Fantastic meal, lovely food and wonderful friendly staff.

We went with kids aged 12 & 10 who ate adult meals.

We had the two courses for around £14, well worth it.

Great way to continue Christmas celebrations.

First time and were pleasently surprised with the food and atmosphere. Been to other local Greek and Turkish restaurants but the food, comfortable seating and staff made this stand out.
Highly recommended and a free lemonchello was the icing on the cake.
