I stopped here for an afternoon Sunday dinner. There were 7 mains on the Sunday menu, priced from £8.95 to £10.50; I chose roast pork at £8.95. The meal arrived after a due delay; there was a good portion of meat, well-cooked and a lump of crunchy crackling; roast potatoes were soft but acceptable; accompanying vegetables, in a separate dish, were broccoli, carrots and marrow.
Service was efficient. There were four cask ales on offer; my pint of Caledonian XPA was good.
