This is my second visit to vindaloo night. I brought my fiance and her friends for a night out to vindaloo, they just loved the decor of the restaurant and the food. the food was presented beautifuly, it gives you that mouth watering feeling. the atmosphere is very relaxing and luxurious, the leather seats are so comfortable that you don't feel like getting up. the staff were very friendly and helpful. i've got to say the service were absolutely fantastic, we were offered a complementary baileys on the management. the value was very good, the portions were nice and big. you can't in wrong so to all you curry lovers out there don't miss out on vindaloo night, its definitely a winner by far plus the roses they handed out to the ladies just it perfect.

“Really disappointing, awful!!!”
Reviewed 22 August 2011

This restaurant was a bad experience for us from start to finish. The menus are so sticky and greasy from not being wiped down that you feel you need to wash your hands after you have ordered. The staff were dull, unwelcoming and unknowledgeable. We didn't get one smile from them. The main dishes were so oily it was unbelievable. The food was bland, oily and greasy and tasted like the cheapest ingredients possible had been used. The rice and nan bread were nice. They charge £3.50 for a pint of coke!!! Which is the same price they charge for a pint if beer so imagine our shock when our drinks bill came to £7 after only ordering two pints of coke. We left most of our main dishes as they were making us feel sick. The Walls are dirty and in the toilets there is paint coming off the walls, the restaurant is fairly scruffy but I can imagine in the evenings when all the ambience lighting is on they can get away with it. We were the only two people in the restaurant, and with 4 waiters on they still forgot to bring out our side dish! While we were waiting for our side dish one of the waiters was chatting away on his phone as the music was skipping on a track on the speaker system in the restaurant for the third time since we arrived. Nobody seemed to care. Intact that us the general feel if this restaurant from the customer service, food and decor - they just don't seem to care and this I'm afraid has lost them our custom for good. What a waste of our money and we both left feeling queasy and disappointed. Avoid at all costs!!!

If you don't mind waiting 3 hours for your food to be served and diarohea for 2 days after, then go here for a curry.
