We had a deluxe double & it was wonderful - large room, comfortable bed, great room darkening shades. The hotel is a short walk to all the major sites in Salisbury and has parking around the corner. The hotel also has a lot of charm - it is old, has a lovely patio for a snack or light meal. The staff is lovely and helpful. In short, I can't imagine why you'd stay anywhere else.
On the other hand, the restaurant was mixed. My halibut was excellent, but my husband's steak was thin, though and overcooked, and the chips were greasy and soggy.
