My Daughter and I stayed for three nights or three breakfasts, yum yum, on a short break to Salisbury. We couldn't have picked a better location or accommodation. Kay and Steve were delightful hosts and nothing was too much trouble, they even allowed us to leave our cases with them on the final morning, as we were catching a later train. As the bus stop into town is right outside the front door it makes traveling so easy, if you used the train, as we did. If you do travel to Salisbury by train remember to add the plus bus to your tickets for the outward and return journeys and for the extra £2.50 (each way) you can travel on the buses as much as you want to on those days. If like us you are interested in architecture then don't forget to visit the Odean cinema in Salisbury, as it was restored by AWN Pugin, whos most famous work is the Houses of Parliment. If you are fit enough then remember to book a trip up the tower of Salisbury Cathedral.

Room Tip: The rooms are all very good and with duble glazing the road noise is minimal.

Thanks for the review. It was nice to chat with you both in the mornings and get educated about some of the architecture in our medieval city.
Love to see you back again in the future.

This was our first stop of three. From this location we seen Stonehenge, Bath (By Train 1 hour) and the wonderful City of Salisbury .Salisbury Cathedral is a must, best Church on our journey! The room was very clean & comfortable. It was located in a good location. Breakfast was fantastic. The owners take pride and it shows... friendly and professional!

Such a wonderful B&B. A perfect location for walkers, short city breaks, and sight-seerers for Stone Henge and Old Sarum. A beautiful bedroom and ensuite, immaculately presented with excellent facilities. Very quiet inside, despite being on a main road, so no problem, even for me as a countryside resident. The breakfasts were perfection on a plate, and Kay and Steve were so nice and friendly. I really enjoyed our morning chats. The Bus Stop outside makes travelling around so easy, and we could nip to the city and back in about 5-10 minutes on the bus. I can't recommend this place enough, well done to both Kay and Steve!

So glad you enjoyed your stay. The path down to the river and on to Old Sarum are such a great thing to have. Me and Rags the dog walk down there everyday and it never dissapoints. Walking boots required at this time of year though!
Thanks for staying with us.

We got a very clean and quite spacious room. Two chairs and a small table inside and bathroom ensuite is very good. The room is soudproof by traffic of Devizes road with a good window. About Kay's breakfast ? Simply perfect.

Visiting relatives in Salisbury and after quite a bit of searching reading reviews selected this B&B for a one night stay in September. Located on main road into Salisbury about a 20-25 minute walk to the city centre, easy to find. Parking was no problem and there is a bus stop just outside if you don't want to walk into town.

The accommodation is very nice, modern facilities, comfy bed, tv etc. Rooms are clean and the shower is much better than we're used to at home which is a plus point!

Kay and Steve looked after us very well providing maps/guidance for walks into town. Great selection of items available for breakfast, I thought the cooked breakfast was particularly good.

You will get some traffic noise but it quietens down overnight - it's not really a problem and many of the B&Bs in Salisbury are on main roads. There are quieter rooms available to the rear of the property.

Would definitely stay again when in town.
