I actually loved this place! It was included in a tour I took from Salisbury, but very few people get off from the bus on the way back to Stonehenge, and I think you'd be missing out on a beautiful place if you don't visit. It's very close to Salisbury itself, but the views are amazing from there. It's set on a small hill, with nothing but trees and nature all around it. This was where the old Salisbury used to be, before they moved it to where it is now. There's only a few walls left, but you can definitely feel the importance of the place. And it does for a nice walk away from the noise of the highway. Absolutely stunning if you like nature and quiet.
