Take a private tour with afternoon cream tea !! Amazing experience with knowledgeable staff and amazingly interesting things to see. The gardens are both beautiful and serene.
The history of this lovely house is both surprising and in parts entertaining (the cartoon drawing room)
Such an amazing history and if you enjoy Eastern Chinese and Japanese culture a definite place to see some wonderful items.
A true experience all round Thank you
Ordering the exclusive private tour followed by cream tea in the gardens has to be one of my better cunning plans for a fabulous afternoon. From start to finish the whole experience is fabulous being met at the gate and then being shown round each individual room and having the time to question and look at the delicate artefacts hear the stories! To be able to just soak up the history is amazing. The whole of the house has history oozing, and stories, pictures newspapes etc ….you go “wow” “my gosh I never realised” on so many occasions. The house is very much alive and the staff and tour guides really do bring it to life. The best way to end the tour was to have an exquisite locally produced cream tea under the shade of a delightful tree in the amazing gardens. After looking at the house and seeing the photographs you have a sudden reality check that you two have stood walked and sat why are so many famous people have already been. If you are looking for a unique and bespoke tour and look no further and speak to the team and organise your amazing trip.
A tour round this house is fascinating and very enjoyable. Gives a totally different view of the life and personality of Edward Heath. Staff who are very knowledgeable and some had worked for him during his life at Arundells. Lovely, informal garden down to the river. Definitely worth a visit.
Well worth a visit. Excellent introduction to the life of Sir Edward Heath in stunning surroundings. The artefacts really bring his life and times into perspective. If possible, take a curator tour.
I have an interest in British politics so this visit was a no brainer. it was very good and the staff on hand very helpful. Very insightful and enjoyable.
A interesting property to look around, with plenty of history. Especially if like me you remember Edward Heath. Our guide was informative, knowledgable & friendly. Well worth the ticket price.
