Nice decor, lunch menu options are served quickly, which is great when you have limited lunch break. Staff are friendly and the food is simple pub grub and good value.
Looks like this is a good evening venue with live music some evenings but haven't tried an evening yet.

I first went to Qudos in May 2013 to see what it was like and have been back so many times you could call me a regular..
Stylish decor and Victorian features create an attractive atmosphere. The staff and managers Alex and Sarah couldn't be more helpful, the lunch menu and coffee are good and well priced, live bands impress, however its the evening menu that keeps bringing me back - and Salisbury has a lot of good places to eat - Gordon Ramsey says keep the menu simple, but top quality and they do:
Fantastic steaks and gormet burgers are my thing, whilst friends or family have loved other choices.
In many visits they have impressed every time - this review is late, if I'd only known about this site earlier!

Booked a table here on a Saturday in October for six of us. The bar is modern and comfortable, sort of u-shaped......with the bar situated in the middle.....restaurant to one side and more tables situated on the other where the live music plays......although wherever you sit or stand the music can be heard even if not seen. Music started around 9 and continued until 11.30. It was very loud at times, but we did not find this a problem. However do not sit too near any speakers set up. There was some dancing although the space is very limited. On this evening the bar was extremely busy. We all ordered different dishes including fish and meat. Everything was freshly cooked and to everyone's satisfaction.....the burgers were some of the best we'd had, the chips chunky, hot and crisp. Steaks cooked to your preference on a hot stone. Prices we felt were reasonable. Although busy the staff were attentive and pleasant and the atmosphere great. Would definitely return.

We were fully aware that this is a live music venue that does not serve breakfast, our stay was so good, to get such a great discount on their excellent main courses was a real treat and the staff were so nice, top tip from us is to take advantage of the 2-4-1 on the cocktails then you won't hear a thing if you want an early night ;)

Initially we went in for Friday fizz, cool tunes playing on a big screen and lots of folk coming in for drinks after work. The manager came over to say hi and said about live music on the Saturday night, with no ticket charge, we reserved a table on the other side of the bar planning to try out their menu and hear some jazz the following evening. Not disappointed! Good menu - yes a couple of dishes were not available but my steak came on a 'hot' hot stone so I could cook it to my liking. Staff were friendly and attentive, beer cold and a funky jazz band played a good set. Overall will definitely go back for drinks, the atmosphere or to hear live music.
