“Absolutely perfect !”
Reviewed 6 June 2011

We stayed here for a wedding and were absolutely delighted with our room , the lovely breakfast and the friendly welcome we received from the owners .Nothing was too much trouble and the owner went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed from papers to a flask of fresh milk for our tea .The room was very comfortable with a lovely view over the cricket field and a match to watch when we arrived .Our only regret was not having enough time to sit and enjoy the beautiful garden and we will definitely come back as soon as possible .The situation is perfect ..close enough to the city to be handy for the shops but on the outskirts so access to the lovely countryside is quick and easy . Perfect !

Room Tip: Room number 12 had the most lovely bed!

My boyfriend and I stayed in Room 12 for one night and were very impressed with this B&B. The room was beautifully decorated, and we had an excellent breakfast. The location was perfect for us, as we wanted to visit the Cathedral and Stonehenge. Would definitely recommend as nothing was too much trouble!

What a lovely surprise, a very good hotel at a reasonable price with excellent service. Snoopy the dog and his Yorkie friend were wonderful, and very well behaved, and the ducks very funny. Perfect for my business needs, the evening snack menu was great for a solo traveller and the wi-fi wasn't expensive either....will be back!

Only stayed one night but enjoyed it very much. Room was very clean, staff were very helpful, and it was very peaceful through the night, very quiet. Only 5 minutes by car to the Central car park (city centre) and about 15 mins from Stonehenge, so very convenient. The breakfast was superb.
This is definitely a B&B though and not a hotel, although it does have a meeting room, but the sign outside says B&B.
My only tiny little gripe was the shower was a tad small in our room, but that is hardly the most important factor.
Overall a great place to stay and we made a great decision to stay here.

Chosen from other Tripadvisor members' recommendations, and was not disappointed.

About 5 mins by taxi from Salisbury centre, we received a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was large, warm and comfortable (2 large chairs and a dressing table.) The shower room was excellent and the bed very very comfy. All rooms are accessed via a lovely courtyard area overlooking the cricket pitch, and our room looked out over the duck pond.

Full English breakfast served with a smile. We even had a rose for my valentine and a complimentary bottle of fizz, which was a lovely touch for Valentine's weekend.

It is clear the owners take a lot of pride in their hotel and it shows. Many thanks for an enjoyable weekend.

This was a gem of a find for the two nights I spent here. It cost me £50 per night.
It is about a mile out of the town which is easily walkable and you miss out on all the noise which can only be a good thing
This is a large B&B with a car park but doesn't have a bar so I guess cannot be technically called a hotel but you are missing nothing.

Firstly the people there were exceptionally helpful and welcoming and made you feel more at home. Such a change from some of the sterile emotionless places I have visited

Secondly the room were spotlessly clean and well decorated and a comfy bed made for a good nights sleep.

Last but not least was a great breakfast with choices of cereals, berries and full English.
My only regret was not asking where they sourced their sausages from which were delicious. I'll ask them next time I stay here
