Yet another delicious lunch in the farm shop today; this time it was haddock chowdah followed by a fruit and cream gateaux, both dishes made by Robert on the premises, and washed down with lemonade. In spite of the shop being busy as usual the service was very good as always.
I've been having lunch there once or twice every week since the grand opening last year and have yet to experience any kind of service less than the best or food anything less than the finest.
Don't listen to the moaners: remember even at the Ritz one has to wait one's turn.

Rusticated from the city last summer this charming rustic and tastefully chintzy farmshop has developed a following of local afficionadoes who come out for a comfortable and delicious tea, coffee, cakes of light lunch and to be tempted by the array of delicious things to buy and take hoe.
Robert is a very well established Salisbury institution. A master patissier and cake maker, he is in the kitchen working away at spectacular wedding cakes as well as being a welcoming host.
In the summer you can sit out in the meadow, watching the horses and never have to be restricted by the city car park charges!!
If you give it a go, you will return.
American visitors would love it!

Visited recently with friends. The cream tea was fab. Lovely scones and plenty of jam and clotted cream. Huge pots of tea of your choice. Excellent value, will certainly return.
