Stayed here in may with our two year old and arrived late , after a long drive. The room we were given was a good size, clean with flat screen tv and free view. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Bathroom was clean and modern.
We had requested a cot but there wasnt one in the room so the lad on reception sorted it immediately for us.
When we settled our toddler to sleep, there was a large amount of noise coming from the next room. It sounded like a herd of elephants running up and down. The noise carried on until 11pm when I went to reception and complained. They immediately changed our room to a disabled room further down the corridor. The lad on reception helped us move and apologised. We kept keys for both rooms and they told us to hand them in in the morning,
The next day, we handed the key in and the girl on reception refunded our nights stay.
The pub connected to the hotel is nice. Breakfast is buffet style continental and the waiters then take orders for cooked breakfast. Both were very nice.
Evening meal equally nice.
Plenty of parking and situated in a good place.
Great service and would return!More
