I paid a first ever visit to Ascot Racecourse and was very impressed by the facilities. It is the best sporting venue I have ever attended.

And he`s off ! On a Cold , Drizzly , Misty day i took the train and got to Clapham Junction London , And got on a South Western Train to Ascot which took approx 50mins , Once i left Ascot Stn the course was only 7-10 mins walk away, Use either the tow path or the main rd which has a hill to climb .Signs galore to help you as well . Paid on the gate £30 Adult (Jan 2019 prices) for the Queen Anne enclosure ,You have all of the facility's downstairs also the parade ground and the winners enclosure but you are not allowed upstairs (The King Edward Vlll Enclosure ) as you would have had to pay another £5 (Jan 2019 prices ) and have right the clothing on , Once inside you will discover lots of places to eat , drink and be merry . From Pizza`s to Burgers & Hot Dogs , to what i had which was a beautiful Lamb Hot Pot Pie with mash & Gravy (£10, Jan 2019 prices ). TV`s everywhere so you can watch the races from inside or if you wish go outside on to the stands . Plenty of seats , in and out . Place you bets inside as i did or on the course . You are a distance from the track but the views are still excellent . All the staff were fantastic and very helpful . It does gets busy but there were`nt that many queues and it was so cold , I had to keep moving to get warm , but i Thoroughly enjoyed it . I recommend Ascot it also caters for families and groups .

Another great event at Ascot. Great racing, fun fair and kids entertainment. And the bonus was the improvement in the main restaurant.

My dad and I went here for Royal Ascot - the Friday session. It was sensational! We had a great time. There was so much open space, the drinks were flowing. We felt safe the whole time. If you are there in June, when the races are on, I would highly recommend going here!

Visited for family day just before Christmas . Ascot had made a real effort to make it Christmassy and friendly with a massive Christmas sing a long as a great conclusion . Very busy so finding a table was difficult .
