The children's play area has a good variety of equipment including a zip wire. All wood bark surfaced. Two sheep in an adjoining field love to be fed and petted.
The cafe that is closed on Mondays has a small soft play area suitable for under fives. Ride on toys supplied on the concrete area outside.
Water bowls for pooches available and this proves to be a popular place for dogs.
My grandchildren love this place in summer and winter.

18 of us enjoyed a stroll around this park, level and well maintained paths. The bluebells were out in the wooded area, and we came across a static Hawker Hunter and a Harvard, plus an army tank. Large parking area with cafe and toilets

I often bring the children here as when the sun is out they will play for hours on all the equipment. I find that it's great if you have a mixed age range of children as it has a zip wire for older children and a sandpit and easily accessible slide etc for the little ones.

I always bring my own buckets and spades as these are not provided.

The toilets are ok and I'm sure anyone with children will agree that any form of toilet facility is better than none at all when at the park with little ones!

There is a cafe too but I don't think it's open every day of the week.

As a family we love this park! There is an exceptionally good play area. Slides, zip wire, swings etc. all covered with bark for protection of younger ones. There is a cafe situated just beside the enclosed play area which is handy as a mum for a coffee or snack. Also has toilets outside another bonus! If you walk around the park there is woodland at the far end with little paths to explore. There are also sheep to see behind wiring, little ones love this. Exceptionally clean and a fabulous free day out!
