We had a room with a river view. Very pleasant long weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, food and spa amenities were very good and we are looking forward to going back again. We liked the idea of the pantry for serving yourself breakfast there was everything you could require.

I have just returned from a weekend at this hotel. The staff are very helpful and the room was excellent although it would have been helpful if we had been told that we would have to go outside to get to our rooms. The hotel was lovely with comfortable sitting areas around open fires but our only complaint was the food menu. The main restaurant food was too rich for us and the food offered on the bar menu was very limited and expensive. Consequently other that breakfast did not eat in the hotel after the first evening

Room tip: Check whether you have to go outside to get to your room

Dear Hazel C,

Thank you for leaving a review of The Oakley Court following your weekend stay with us. I was delighted by your comments on the very helpful staff and excellent bedroom, in winter our lounge areas are the perfect location for a relaxing break in front of the wood burning fires. It was disappointing to hear your feedback in the food menu, our Head Chef and Food and Beverage manager have been informed and will look into this.
I hope we can welcome you back in the not so distant future.

Kind regards
Daniel Man

My wife and I stayed here early January as part of her 30th birthday and it did not disappoint.

Upon arrival you are welcomed with friendly staff, check in was quick and easy and another staff member showed us to our room which was nice.

We stayed in one of the Executive Suites which was very spacious and we were lucky enough to have 2 views, one of the river and the other back to the original building (ask for room 226). Yes the rooms are an extension to the original building but this didn’t bother us at all as everything is so close to each other.

Yes, the rooms are slightly dated in terms of furnishings (which is why I have given it 4 stars not 5) but they are kept to a high quality and all the facilities were up to scratch.

Luckily we stayed during a quiet weekend so we’re able to relax in the pool for a bit and walk the grounds which are still well maintained in the height of winter.

Like other reviews, breakfast was one of the highlights with plenty to choose from!
We didn’t have dinner there as we had reservations in Bray (quick Uber ride) but the quality of the menu looked promising!

Overall a really nice, relaxing stay, we made the right choice staying slightly outside the main area of Windsor.

Would easily book again.

This is a very British building with a good service and comfortable rooms. The meeting rooms for small groups are nice and the catering is also good. The surroundings and the garden are marvelous. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I came to visit Windsor and stayed at the Oakley Court hotel and I have to say the experience was just amazing.

We travelled 2.5 hours from Derby and as soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcomed. Staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly at breakfast, there was a young lady called Nakita who was very supportive in helping us with our food and drink, it was refreshing to see a youngster with good customer service manners (trust me I have stayed a lot of hotels and you don’t get this everywhere). The bedroom was airy as was the bathroom. We bought our pet dog Cooper along with us and it’s wonderful to see that the hotel had a bed made up for him with some treats and snacks as a welcome - Was just fantastic and great that there is a hotel but accommodate pets. Thanks Oakley we hope to be coming back soon!
