“Fantastic hotel a real treat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 December 2013

This is an expensive treat but a treat nonetheless! It's every Lego fan's dream. Rooms wonderfully decorated. We loved the separate children's sleeping area, great to settle the children to sleep whilst adults stay up. Staff friendly and helpful. The only criticism is the lift. Far too small and you have to wait ages to be able to use it. We take our son for his birthday each year, price varies all the time! Best to book early, we go in November so not as expensive. If you can go for the fireworks end of October/beginning December as they are amazing! Would recommend Legoland Hotel.

Room Tip: We stay in park view rooms, doesn't cost too much more and worth it.

Rooms are nice. Breakfast is very English not much international food. You need your room card to access all doors and to take the elevator. Very nice swimmingpool.
Friendly staff. Very nice to have Free Wifi in the Hotel.
The food n the restaurant was really good.

We are a small family of 2 adults and 1 6 year old and to stay here high season it would be £300/night - good job it's November. We paid just over £100 for a 1 night treat for our boy - some deal my wife got to know of however the park is closed.

The hotel is amazing and décor is fantastic from start to finish. The minute you walk up to the hotel you are met by a fuming dragon and upon entering you are surrounded by everything that is Lego. The staff are friendly and eager to help.

The décor of the room is great and attention to detail is out of this world. The kids even get a treasure hunt in their own room when they arrive! Freeview TV with a LEGO channel, coffee making facilities, en-suite and did I mention the décor? Our room was immaculately clean and warm - 100/10 for bedrooms! 10 star

Pool is small so needs to be a well timed visit (early morning) but fun all the same. The skyline bar is well priced and plenty of room. The other restaurant is a evening buffet serving all you can eat £18.95/adult and just under a tenner for kids. Outdoor play area is a good size, a pool of LEGO is in reception where you can go nuts, small shop selling LEGO gifts & trinkets. Xbox's scattered around the stage.

The entertainment - I thought - could have been better. I believe that the stage area is too small for the size of the hotel - as my wife said it was nice but was expecting more and duely disappointed. The 8pm disco only lasted 30mins so my son too was disappointed.

Please do not be put off by my final comments as the hotel itself is awesome. Oooo! I forgot to mention the massive all you can eat breakfast included in the price. If your kids love lego they will love this place.

Room Tip: ask for a park view

I was looking forward to my legoland hotel stay for three months before we went. I think it cost about £700 ish for 2 nights in a premium adventure room. Don't get me wrong, the room was excellent. The decor was so attentive that it was like being bombarded with mummies, adventurers and insects (not real obviously) every step you took. There was a lego parrot a lot of lego bugs and a lego hat on a hook in the bathroom. Even in small spaces like on the spare toilet roll there was a small sticker of Johnny thunder holding two round lego 1x1 lego bricks (supposed to be lego loo roll). The down sides were subtle yet stuck out like a sore thumb. For starters- (pun intended) the food. We only ate breakfast there so this is a review of that. One word- cold. Not full English so much, but the waffles and pancakes were literally as cold as a rock outside in winter. The lifts were VERY annoying. It had a voice play when it moved that said things like " I love my job: it has its ups and downs". I've saved the worst till last here. The last down is the beds. TAKE NOTICE IF YOU ARE PLANNING A TRIP HERE! The kids beds were exactly the consistency of a car's back seat. On closer look, the mattress was simply a rubber coated sponge. (VERY uncomfortable. On both nights got to sleep about 2am). Adult beds were average. The same as sleeping on a cheap spring mattress. Also on closer look, there was quite a lot of dust on the lego models in the room and the 'stone' pillar thing in the kids room was actually a fibreglass shell with wires sticking out of the top. Pool was perfect. Some other reviews say how it was cold, but don't believe that. Aside from the downs an excellent stay! Staff were conversational, friendly and helpful, and the entire hotel was lego decorated. Brilliant for about 7 down. Maybe I was a tad old. But bear in mind what I said about the beds if you're planning a stay. Thank you for your time.

Stayed here for 1 night for a mini break in Windsor. Paid £99 for 2 adults and 2 children, which included breakfast.

The hotel was fantastic and much better than I'd expected. We stayed in an Adventure theme room which was clean and very well equipped. The attention to detail all around the hotel makes it a really great fun place to stay.

There is a little treasure hunt in the room where the children would find the code to open the treasure chest and each got a small pack of lego. The room was split into two areas - the children's area which had bunk beds and a pull out bed underneath so could sleep 3. Then the adult bit which had a double bed. There was a TV in each area.

The tea/coffee making was well stocked and there were lego themed toiletries in the bathroom.

We went out for dinner in the evening so cannot comment on the evening meal. There was also evening entertainment in the hotel but we did not go to this either.

We did use the pool which was great. Not huge and there was a bit of a wait as it was busy when we wanted to go - but only 15 mins wait.

Breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of choice - full English, continental, cereals, pancakes and waffles.

There are 2 play areas in the hotel, one in reception which is a very large pit of lego and another next to the restaurant which has Xboxs.

We had a really great time, and the kids of course loved it. Would definetley go back - especially at that price!!!

We took our son for his 5th birthday present. We were greeted by beds made from dirty sheets and Lego built items in the room were broken.
We then went down to dinner, every bowl, plate, glass and piece of cutlery was filthy. Even our napkins had ketchup stained lip prints on them.
We were on the 3rd floor, but the music from the ground floor pub/bar still kept us up until the early hours.
We had breakfast and were greeted by the same cleanliness we'd experienced the night before.
We paid £800 for a two night stay and experienced the service you'd expect in a £45 a night hotel. Upon checking out, we left out bags at their baggage claim. Every toy we had bought our son that weekend was now broken, inside the bag.
I made several complaints on our stay, as well as two formal complaints in writing since. Today marks one month since we stayed and I've still not had a reply from them.
It really isn't worth the money. Stay in a smaller/cheaper hotel in Windsor instead.

Well we travelled a long way to get here ( from New Zealand) with two very excited children and the hotel was everything we had hoped. Our boys were so excited and the whole experience was magical for them. The room, the restaurant, the breakfast, location in the park, it was all superb. The pirate room was brilliant, all set up for the kids with a treasure chest challenge thrown in. Brilliant.

Room Tip: Don't think that the opening half an hour early is too special, as the park is opened early to h...
