Great hotel that is better than express by a long way.

18 months old but feels newer, lovely rooms & great bathrooms. (Fantastic shower.)

The breakfast was fine & lounge area was lovely, sunny & airy. Patio is available if you fancy your breakfast alfresco!

Friendly staff & easy parking underground at £10. a night.

Room Tip: A 15 minute walk to town some lovely houses to look at en route and if going to Windsor races take t...

New hotel, but starting to get worn some places. New small bar and restaurant. Staff eager to tell all is new. New staff too? Perhaps not so seasoned. We had problems with our stay due to a mistake from the staff, and instead of giving us a credit on our bill, we were given a voucher with credit points for a future stay. When I pointed out I might never come back I was met with a raising if the shoulders and the eyebrows. Not very inviting. So if you are up for a gamble, it´s a place for you. They do have clean beds, and they are very, very proud of it.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend for 3 nights as we were in windsor for a charity bike event.

Pro's
Room was clean and modernly decorated
10 min walk to town
Quiet
Beds were comfortable

Cons
There was lack of staff to cover the restuarant / bar, reception area
Staff were rude
Hairdryer broken in one of the rooms.
It was indicated on the tv that the fire alarm was to go off on monday morning. When we asked at reception what time that would be, the girl didnt have a clue and then said...it will be in the afternoon.
The breakfast plates / mugs were dirty
The hot food served at breakfast was cold, the croissants were rock hard.
We had dinner on the first night, but the service was terrible, so we ate out for the rest of the time.

If you are staying for one night it was fine, however, I would eat elsewhere.

Room was clean and we got a reasonable rate. Although there is an underground car park its first come, but there is parking at the rear of hotel, a pay & display. As we were in Windsor for a charity bike event the hotel didn't have a problem with me storing my bike in the room. Although car park is secure there is no where to lock bike to. Breakfast is ok but don't leave it til nearly 10 as we did, not much left!

Room Tip: 3rd floor, no one above you...less noise

Stayed for 3 nights to visit Windsor and London with my hubby and 10 year old daughter. Room clean and beds are so comfy (better than Premier Inn), modern bathroom with a great shower. Had a family room, so a bit compromised on space but weren't really in the room very much apart from sleeping!

Breakfast could be a bit better, some bacon to go with the sausages would have been nice and the area was a little congested where you got the food from.

All in all though, couldn't really fault the hotel or location. 10 minute walk into town. Would recommend for a short stay and I would have no hesitation in coming back.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as we were attending the BMW PGA Golf Championship at Wentworth.

Pros

Location of hotel to venue.
Location of hotel to centre of Windsor.
The standard of room was very good.

Cons

Cold scrambled egg and beans at breakfast. No sausages were available as per
menu. Croissants were rock hard. Despite complaining to staff it was not
rectified.
We had no stock of coffee/ milk in room upon arrival. Again complained to staff
to little effect.

To the credit of the hotel we received a refund for the car parking (£10 per night!) but the
standard of breakfast was very poor along with the coffee facilities within the
room. We only ate the one morning as we had lost confidence in the quality of the food and ate elsewhere.

Room Tip: I would suggest all rooms would be of a good standard.

Visited the hotel for 1 night as part of a business trip with 2 colleagues. Hotel itself is modern and well furnished. The reception area is clean and compact with an adjacent outside garden area to enjoy a drink. The room was smart and well furnished with an excellent shower. A/C wasn't working in room but I only reported on check out so cant complain.

However, problems occurred in the morning. Breakfast is poor in my opinion with cheap and poor quality produce, sausages looked and tasted like the lowest frozen quality you can buy, and hotel breakfast is nowhere near standard of other mainstream hotels. Had to wait 20 minutes before being able to have milk with drinks and cereal as they were awaiting delivery. Orange juice machine dispensed insipid and colourless juice that was undrinkable. 15 minutes later member of staff was replenishing machine with juice. This was all reasonably late on for breakfast at approximately 0830hrs.

Check out was a shambles. Previous day we were informed that our business account booking had been accepted. However on check out day we were informed that we must pay for our rooms. On checking our bills it transpired that all 3 bills were for differing amounts for the same room, with 2 members charged for parking. After seemingly all hotel staff member's appearing behind reception to rectify problem (without success) I then discovered that I had been charged for the wrong bill! Cue much panic and eventual resolution. Not a good experience as we were due to interview all day and the incompetence put us behind schedule.

Overall a disappointing experience and although mistakes can always happen it has discouraged me from potential business / personal bookings.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your feedback & my sincere apologies for having to endure this level of service. This indeed was a day of logistical setbacks which affected our overall delivery of service. Please be assured, this is not the norm at the hotel as you would clearly see from this site itself. We hope to welcome you back, assuring you of our usually great service.
