Great beers, and lots of interesting commentary about the brewing process and the industry as a whole. We had a great evening, thanks very much.

Will certainly be popping in regularly to stock up!

Went along in a group of 4 for this brewery tour on Wed 23rd April 2014 which was not only St George's Day but was also the brewery's 4th anniversary. Willie Calvert did the brewery tour and kept us regularly topped up with samples of all the different ales which were contained in a specially built mini cellar. The tour was very interesting and the whole brewery seemed to run very efficiently despite us having full access to all areas. Paddy Johnson joined us from time to time and explained the brewing process for the Parklife 3.2% light ale which also served to highlight the brewing knowledge and skills at this brewery. The stories behind the special ales were of particular interest e.g. Coronation Ale and Zinzan's Drop and the barley being supplied from the Royal farm nearby. The ales we sampled were all served in fantastic condition and the whole tour was fun and very enjoyable. We so enjoyed the company of Willie and Paddy that we felt part of the brewing family and agreed to stay until the evening to join them on their 4th birthday tour of Windsor and Eton pubs all of which were selling their ales on the night. All in all so much more than a brewery tour and not to be missed if you are in the area.

a party of 14 happy chaps toured the W&E brewery on Tuesday 23 April on a St Georges Day outing to Windsor. This tied in nicely with the WEBrew trip as they were also celebrating the fourth anniversary of their first brew, Guardsman. The engaging Paddy Johnson went through a very informative tour showing the whole process of brewing, punctuated with glasses of their fine ales.
This is a great little place, and you would not be disappointed with a trip to see them, but make sure you book in advance.
Its got nothing to do with vorsprung durch technic you know...

Went on the Windsor & Eton Brewery tour yesterday, didn't really expect much as I'm not really a beer drinker but thought it might be interesting to see the mechanics behind the making of beer. Have to say it was a lovely evening, our hosts Will, Paddy and Mila were friendly, funny, generous and informative. We were walked through the different stages of beer production with lots of detail and opportunities to ask questions, taste, smell and feel the barley & hops. Throughout the tour we were able to sample beers and at the end were encouraged to try out all the beers this brewery produces. Although I wasn't converted to a beer drinker my colleagues (who were beer drinkers) really appreciated the quality of beer we were given. Really reasonably priced event, it was something different and a fun and informative evening.
