Great food, daily room service, very clean, very nice in room shower, tea, coffee and biscuits 24 hours, very friendly family, free WiFi, only five minutes walk from the heart of Windsor, no need for a car, very quiet yet centralized, only 12 miles from Heathrow.
This is a lovely English house owned and operated by a lovely couple yet very professional. I am so glad I stayed there and would love to stay again.
If you care about breakfast like I do, then don't look further, this is the place for excellant English breakfast as well as continental breakfast. I miss my stay already.

We wanted to visit Legoland and Windsor castle in a weekend, travelling by public transport, and decided that the best way was to stay for Friday and Saturday nights in Windsor. We think that Langton House is an ideal location. We wanted to get to Legoland early on Saturday morning and it was so easy just to walk down to the stop by the hospital and catch the bus 191 at 08.57, arriving at Legoland well before the crowds (and also considerably in advance of the official shuttle bus that only starts running at 10am). We found out about this from the website www.transportdirect.info, which is wonderful for public transport links anywhere in the UK. One note: this bus drops you at the staff entrance, so you have to walk up the hill to the main Legoland entrance. It was also an easy walk from Langton House to the main railway station, town centre and castle.

Sonja was extremely helpful in letting us leave our luggage at Langton House during the day on Sunday so that we could enjoy the castle without having to carry all our stuff. We then just popped back to get our bags in the afternoon before catching our train home. We very much appreciated this extra service!

My only slight criticism would be that the continental breakfast was basically the cereal and toast available to those who also had the full English breakfast. We have had extra rolls or a croissant, nicer jam or cheese at other B&Bs. And there was no milk in the guest kitchen on Sunday morning for an early cup of tea (but that's down to other guests using it all up and not letting Paul and Sonja know!!). But those are minor things - I think this is highly recommendable alone for the location and convenience if you're using public transport.

My wife and I arrived from Australia that day and were looking for a quiet place to stay after our long flight. We weren't disappointed. Langton House is in a quiet location and we had a clean, spacious and comfortable room on the first floor. The ensuite bathroom was on the small side but clean and stocked with soaps, etc. A small kitchenette on the first floor was well provisioned with, coffee, tea and biscuits. There is offstreet parking though the spaces are small. This was not a problem as we had a small car. It is a quick and easy walk to Windsor Castle, the restaurants and shops. Breakfast was substantial with many options including fresh fruit. We found the host, Paul, to be very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.

Landloard had excellent knowledge of Windsor and the surroundings and also where to visit like local shops and galleries.

I would highly recommend my B&B guide as he and his wife have live here for 20 years

and more who really know the area and the culture of Windsor and all the things that Windsor has to offer.

My Best Regards,

Mr.E.L.Griffiths

This place is very well located in Windsor, within an easy walk to the Castle and local town. We enjoyed the generous sized downstairs bedroom and free WiFi internet access for our laptop. An easy access car park for our 2 litre car was provided for our booking, though it's a tight fit for that size of car. The bedroom itself was very pleasant and tidy with a high ceiling, the decor is older style and patterned though probably quite suitable to the Victorian style of the building. The hosts were very pleasant and professional and helped to make for an enjoyable stay. There is a separate TV/reading room for all occupants, though small and narrow and a bit inconvenient for those using it as the occupants arriving back to the house come in through a side door of the house into this room. For its type of accommodation, this is a good and useful place to stay in Windsor. We would definitely stay there again.
