We are from New Zealand and needed a central location to meet up with friends and take in the local sites. This enabled us to do both. We stayed for 9 days. The 45 minute walk into Windsor through the fields and down by the river was a highlight and made it easy to visit the sites of interest in Windsor. The train, 10 minutes walk down the road, makes getting into the city easy and convenient. The fact that Heathrow is a few minutes away is also handy for the international traveler like us. Coming into the UK after a long haul flight this would be an great place to recover from the journey before moving on. We found it very convenient for the short drive to the airport when we left the UK for the 30 hour journey home. The garden was a bonus as was the complementary tickets to the Royal Windsor Horse show. Thanks Nick
If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Windsor area this is worth a serious look. A large room serves as bedroom and lounge with plenty of storage for your clothes. The furniture gives a feeling of home from home with a small table and chairs plus a pair of lounge chairs. The kitchen & bathroom are both compact but have everything you need. Everything is clean and in good decorative order. Mid February is not a time to enjoy the small garden however it looks like it would make a pleasant and private extra room in the summer. Parking is easy and the property is located in a quiet road. The walk into Windsor through the playing fields of Eton College is highly recommended.
Compact studio with small but well-appointed kitchen. It has a small private garden which is magical is the summer sun. The village of Datchet is 15 mins away on foot and has a good variety of shops. There is a supermarket another 5 ins past the village. Eton is close by and the bustling town of Slough is 20 mins walk or a short bus ride away. The surrounding area consists of expansive fields and tall trees. We spent 5 relaxing weeks at the studio in the summer of 2016 and enjoyed our stay very much.
We used this for our engineers who were working near by and the whole package was very efficient. Great property and easy to check in + parking was handy to have. Many thanks
Just returned from a 5 night stay. The studio is spotless and well maintained and a good size with everything you need for a comfortable base. Both bathroom and kitchen are small but perfectly functional. The main room has plenty of storage and good wifi if needed. It is fully self contained with its own access. There is a small garden/outside seating area and easy on street parking. Location is excellent and the train is a good option for getting around if you don't want to drive. The train station is a 10/15 minute walk in the village centre and is a couple of minutes into Windsor or you can get straight into central London. The village itself has all the amenities you could need including a Tesco Metro and a selection of pubs and restaurants. Next time we visit the area we would have no hesitation in staying here again.
