“Check they are serving!!”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

No service if you choose to sit outside but there are plenty of staff wondering around looking blankly at you! We wanted somewhere nice to eat outside, my husband collected menus and our group decided from the menus only when we got to the bar to order were we told they had stopped serving as they were "too busy"! This establishment has more tables than their kitchen can cater for and no customer service. Waste of time and we won't bother returning again!!

Good rooms although a bit warm without any air conditioning. Good service and food for evening meal but a very poor breakfast, although the staff did offer to put it right. Great location with good car parking and easy walk into town centre.

Had been visiting Broadway with my partner for the day and come midday called into this hotel for a much needed drink. On arrival this woman member of staff came out of a side area, saw us standing waiting to be served at the bar and then she disappeared never to be seen again. We looked around and noticed that we were the only ones that were actually waiting to be served at the time so we can only imagine that she had gone to consult counsellors at the back of this establishment about the presence of customers in the bar area! As she had decided that the hotel was too busy to actually serve us we went round to the Crown and Trumpet where a delightful lady was happy to serve us. I can only suggest this latter establishment as they actually seem to want to serve you!! PS can't speak for rooms or hotel staff despite marking on TripAdvisor as low score so that side of the business may be completely different.

We booked this for mum's 70th birthday, there were 6 of us 3 had steak all cooked different and cooked to perfection. Dad has sea bream again very good and 2 others had belly pork tasty. The staff were very friendly and pulled out all the stops to make the evening special. The place itself was beautiful with nice gardens but these are not secure for small children. Price wise not bad £200 for 6 but we were not partaking much alcohol but at £19 a bottle I think this is reasonable. Car park to the side small but large public car park behind, recommend booking as small and personal.

Room Tip: Book table go early have drink in garden or bar .

We've just stayed at this lovely hotel on the "Broadway Treat" package, which provides d, b and b plus a huge bunch of the most beautiful flowers, delicious chocolates and half a bottle of champers. We have stayed in several hotels belonging to this small group and never been disappointed. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and the (superior) room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Broadway is a spectacularly pretty village and the hotel has a terrace at the front overlooking the village green, where you can enjoy a drink or a meal. I can't think of anything they could have done better.

Room Tip: This is an old, quirky building and we went for a superior room, on the theory that the standard roo...

Broadway Hotel is conveniently located along Station Road /High Street. We were drawn to it by the pleasant courtyard out front where patrons were dining and soaking up the summer sunshine.

The hotel is set back from the High Street with a large grassy verge along its frontage.

The exterior exuded charm and history but what surprised us were the fresh, modern interiors!
So much thought and effort has gone into making this hotel hip and modern while retaining its traditional character and warmth. Lovely ambience inside, though a little odd with the reception and washrooms being further back from the entry.

From our brief time spent here enjoying drinks and sweet treats, we were impressed with Broadway hotel. If we returned to Broadway to stay, this would be without a doubt, our hotel of choice.

We stopped for one night with our dogs. Lovely hotel with relaxing garden for residents. Interior beautifully decorated and lovely restaurant. Dinner in the brasserie was first class and reasonably priced. Our dog friendly room was delightful and peaceful. We will be back !
