A good choice of meals and good quality. I had steak & kidney pie which has a puff pastry lid only. The steak and kidneys were done to perfection, with no gristle, and came with lovely deep fried chips & peas. I went on a Wednesday evening on the off-chance just after 6 and there were very few tables left. It pays to book! Tables are close together so don't expect much privacy. Car park is very limited but there is a public car park round the corner. A good value place to eat in Broadway offering more traditional food than some of the other eateries.

Thank you John and delighted you enjoyed your first visit to my traditional Cotswold Inn. We want to achieve just that where you can have a good quality inexpensive home cooked meal in an Inn environment not to be an expensive gourmet pub. Looking forward to welcoming you both again.

We have been doing these popular traditional puddings for a number of years and as they are all homemade we can do them all for a very good price and also make them seasonal. Thank you for taking the trouble to thank my team hope to see you again soon

It's a CAMRA pub, has a well stocked and varied selection of ales with a reasonably good food offering. The Sunday lunch consisted of meat, peas, gravy, parsnips, roast and boled potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, with a side dish of cauliflower and carrot. 50% less veg volume and 50% more protein and the value would have been good. Impossible to deal with the veg, most of which was cooked to a high standard, but the beef portions were parsimonious and a tad disappointing. The beer,, however, was excellent. Service was prompt and efficient, the bar staff were very friendly and I hope their attitude rubs off on the waiting staff in weeks to come.

Haven't been for some time but this pub never seems to change. Good beer including a mild, Food very good value. I had a drovers (ploughmans with ham) with the biggest cottage roll I have ever seen. Very fresh.
