Owner description: We are a third generation family farm set in the Heart of the beautiful Cotswold Hills overlooking Broadway and the Vale of Evesham. Lavender was first planted here in 2000 in fields previously used to grow wheat and barley. We produce the highest quality English Lavender Essential Oil. We now have over 35 different varieties, some 70 miles of rows, and 250,000 plants in total. Our crops are steam distilled on the farm and made into our unique lavender products, all proudly made in Great Britain.• You can walk the fields when the Lavender is in full bloom• See the harvest and Distillation when it takes place (usually end of July)• We have a Tea Room and Gift shop• The Tea Room serves light lunches, cream teas and cakes• Our Gift Shop sells our whole range of products plus much, much more. Admission to fields £3.50 adult £2.50 children (5-16 years)Under 5’s FREE Well behaved dogs on leads welcomed OPEN June to August - see our website for further details. We like to source as many locally made foods and produce for our tearoom. We are a Lavender Farm and although we do have a few plants for sale at the shop when we are open, we are NOT a Lavender Nursery and do not grow plants to sell

What a lovely site! It was purple everywhere and the smell was absolutely amazing!! We took lots of awesome pictures. Everyone at the Tee room and Shop was very friendly and the Lavender scone and tea was interesting. Lots of nice smelling things to buy at the shop. Cheap entry and you can re-use your ticket if you what to come again in the summer. Loved it!!

Actually nothing to see... So make sure you go when in bloom or else not worth the detour.. Small gift shop with lavender products is nice.

This is a little harsh!
Our lavender farm is open from june until the end of August, we do not have any control over when the lavender is in flower so of course if you come when it's not in flower then there wont be anything to see! In a " normal" year it should be in flower from when we open, this year we had snow here right through to April so the Lavender was late in coming in to flower. We post regular updates on Facebook, Twitter and our website telling people what the fields look like. And we close when they aren't in bloom after the harvest. We have no control on the weather so we are sorry if you missed the wonderful sight of,our fields in flower, perhaps a check on our website before hand or phoning us first would have saved the disappointment.

I've been going to Snowshill Lavender with my family for a few years. I think the big sea of purple is a good sight to see, and like the aroma of lavender. We walk the fields and find the area to be picturesque. The various shades of purple in the rows of lavender are contrasting against the surroundings. The tea room is a must with it's many lavender themed items on the menu (we have tried the lavender shortbread and ice cream). I have bought many items from the gift shop and love the smell of the hand harvested lavender used in their products. We go at least once a year, and would go back again in 2014.

If you want to see the lavender in full bloom I would advise checking in advance to avoid disappointment as it very much depends on the weather. It is a little late this year but there was still quite a big expense of colour when we visited in early July.
For the nominal sum of £2.50 you can walk around the fields and can use this ticket again for future visits this summer. This walk would not be suitable for wheelchairs.
The distillery was not in action but I am sure it will be once the Lavender is harvested.
There is a nice café and shop on site and toilet facilities.
We visited on a very hot day but there is very little shade and no umbrellas to sit outside.

Visited the lavender fields with a Friend, beautiful day for it. Some gorgeous varieties and a fabulous purple hue across the fields. It's so peaceful and the scent is carried in the air, stunning scenery and the drive through Broadway to reach the fields is such classic Cotswolds. Nice shop with plenty of products and a lovely tearoom with outside seating - a lovely afternoon out.
